I wonder if this will work for other wireless charging devices, like cell phones or tablets.

No, it's not a Qi pad, nor is it made for charging batteries. It's something proprietary that just keeps the mouse powered on.
  4. So i just got this, I am having an issue, synapse is not picking up the device. I have tried everything its just not picking it but hte mouse works great

Same here on Synapse 2.0 and 3.0. Is this device not Synapse ready? That would be silly because it installed Synapse 3.0 but doesn't work with it.

Same. I think they just haven't released the update for Synapse 3 that supports it yet. What's more disappointing for me is that it won't work if it's on any type of metal or aluminum surface. My desk is made of aluminum and the wireless field won't work at all unless I pick it up several inches from the surface. Seems like one pretty glaring design flaw if it can't even function on top of a metal surface.

Wow that's huge. This info should be bumped for visibility.
  8. This is something they overlooked for sure, the aluminum surface might have an easy fix, I have a large mouse pad I put my keyboard, keypad, and mouse on. You might be able to fit the hyperflux mouse pad on it not sure tho if that would help.

As far as the software this is very much something i think they just simply forgot to turn on, I really love the mouse, the weight and placement of my hand work well with this during competitive FPS.

I tried putting two magazines under the mousepad (which is functionally ridiculous) and it still does not work. It apparently needs to be far removed from any metal. Shame.

This one looks cool! oh well, after knowing the price. Shit! Can't afford hahahahaha!!! :big_grin_::big_grin_::big_grin_:
  11. You know whats funny is if I play Overwatch, the Chroma that reacts with the game works so it looks like the software on the mouse itself works fine.

The green light is very distracting. Does anyone know whether it is possible to turn the green lights off?

I received mine today and was hoping to find a setting to turn the green light off on the pad and mouse, but since Synapse isn't even detecting the devices I'm not sure whether that option is going to be available.

I don't find it distracting, but ya i don't know since we don't have synapse yet.. maybe tape a piece of paper in front of it? lol

The USB cable that is provided has a caution tag that says NOT to place any phone or wireless charging device on the surface of the mousepad, or not to place any metal object on it, or set the mousepad on a metallic object.

When you have multiple Chroma devices all synced to the same color scheme, who wants an obnoxious green light staring them in the face?

Nah i get it, but all mine is synced up and it doesn't bother me. Or, turn all your colors to green ;)

  18. The big thing about synapse not working is I can't set up my buttons or change the DPI at all. I hope they fix this asap right now I dead in the water.

Idk about other people that got the Hyperflux, but I got an email saying that customization features wont be able until the end of February.

Basically you can only use default settings. I wish the mat came default with the color wave, but its just purple for me. Lets hope this update releases sooner than later
