Headsets are the way to go
I have this crazy idea of placing the Nommo speakers on either side of the leviathan sound bar, then use a 3.5mm headphone splitter to connect both speakers to an audio source for some insane sound...
UPDATE: after reading through the comments on this thread, nope, I'm not the only one hehe
I need these! Dang, you're not making it easy on my finances nowadays...
Now your products and pricing has really left me stunned!!! Can someone explain me about 2.1 and 5.1 and 7.1 surround system with their pricing respectively. Anyone out here, help this baffled guy.
Well, I'll try:
2.1= 2 for the two speakers Left and Right and the .1 is for a subwoofer. Then for the 5.1 add a center speaker for the front and two for the back/surround effect and finally with a 7.1 system they add another two speakers for the sides L&R. As for the cost, it amounts to the number of speakers 2.1=3 speakers then 5.1=6 and 7.1=8 in total. Then you have a simulated surround (fake using stereo or a 2.1 set ) system, now some sets do an OK job simulating surround but there is nothing like a properly set up true surround system. That's it, in a nutshell, hope it helps.
so really tho, who wants to buy my leviathan's? mint cond! lol
Now that's the great idea!
I think these would be Cool for Movies, but still not quite sold on it for Games, that is why I have a Kraken Headset.
would love the pro just cant afford that much but the chroma set will be cool. will miss that extra base
Speaker + Chroma = DOPE
I just noticed, the nommo (non pro) come in 2 price points, the cheaper of which has NO chroma.
Another category of peripherals that Razer needed to upgrade, keep on going! GG
I received my Nommo Chroma yesterday and it does have a good base (great for listening to Rammstein ) and excellent sound quality. Looks even better than any pics you see, very simple and sleek design and when you change volume and base it uses the chroma base to show you your levels.
have a feeling y'all named it Nommo just so y'all could have a field day with all those puns amirite
Many 2.0 speakers fail at reproducing higher tones. I hope these are not such a ones.

Got my replacement, I have linked them with my Leviathan successfully. Thanks Razer for having an AUX input in the Chroma version.
My thoughts on the Nommo Chroma.
1- The Chroma base lights are much less bright than my other chroma devices. A little disappointed here.
2- They sound good as @Orionuk73 said in a previous reply, however not sure if I would keep them if I didn't had a Leviathan. A little too much accustomed with at least 2.1 sound systems. Without a subwoofer I would be a little disappointed for a 2.0 speaker set a this price range.
3- Leviathan + Nommo sound incredible together, at least in my current speakers setup.
In short, very happy having them linked with my Leviathan. I'm really surprised how good it sound together. Without a Leviathan, I would probably have them returned and waited for the Pro release.
Picture of the current speakers configuration:
Ohhh gosh, thank you so much for sharing!!
Now I MUST have them xD
i will. hehe
thanks pal. Was really helpful though i was baffled due to the pricing, cause i still love 7.1 more than others. But which one you recon for Laptop workstation, i do lot of gaming too, so which one you think is better.
As a hi-fi audio afficionado, I'm pleased to see Razer stepping up their game in a big way; however, Chroma or not, the Nommo Pro is substantially overpriced for what you are getting seeing that it's a 2.1 setup.
awesome thanks for letting me know. glad i did get them they supposed to be here Tuesday
