    The sale was well intentioned and I thank you for it! Just understand that anyone who thinks the sale was a marketing ploy didn't buy their dream item for 50% off. Really too many sore losers. Razer was not obliged in any way, shape or form to give their customers a 50% off sale. People need to grow up.

    Please keep up the sales and ignore the sore losers.

    Again, thanks for sale and humble, customer-oriented discussion in response to the sale.

    Having flash sales/rewards here would be nice for the active users. It will most definitely result in less whining, though perhaps more spam. But what ever you do, don't stop designing new things!

    Cant thank you enuff for the sale but it sucks people are really mad and think they should be compensated for not getting something.... i don't get bit but congrats to everyone and Razer on your rewards!

    I have been eyeing Razer Orbweaver for over a year and thanks to Razer and their appreciation sales i managed to get myself one! Can't wait for it to reach my doorstep. It's a good thing that Mr Tan ML plans to award the loyal fans but unfortunately i wont be able to participate as im still pretty new to insider. Nevertheless, good luck to those who will be eligible to participate!

    Nice that Min and Razer are thinking about having more sales in the future for fans. One time sale a year is cool but the amount of traffic is insane. Really a gamble getting anything and unfortunately no luck for me this year. At least I had a chance though some of my friends were working and didn't even get to participate. 1000 posts though? How many years will it take to get that many?:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye_:

    I would like to take this opportunity to congrats those who managed to bought your beloved razer items, i wanted to get the hottest blackwidow chroma but it was out of stock at the point of payment. My mood was very very down and almost went to buy corsair to express my unpleasantness but I know i will be worse if i had purchased the corsair !
    I have been a fans of razer for 10 years, my first mouse is razer copperhead which served me for 6 years and it spoilt because of my carelessness. There was a heavy rain and I left my dorm's window opened, what surprised me is that the mouse is still functional ! I only decided to buy a new razer when the rubber gets sticky, i think probably because of the rain water. And now, I am using the Lachesis and it still serves me well after so many years. What I loves and been loyal to Razer is its design and it durability. Also, I am still using your Razer Mantis till to date ! Sometimes it is not good for your company when you make durable products, but I think thats the reason we love Razer !
    I may not be active in Razer Insider to hits the 1000 post counts, but I will work hard for it ! What I am certain is, I will always be your fans !

    I would love to see some statistics on how much the web servers were getting hit. I think it would be a good idea to share information form the sale. For example how bad the webserver(s) were getting hit when the sale started for each region.

    For example, the Shmoocon Conference (InfoCon) posts statistics on their ticket sales. The Shmoocon website gets hit with roughly 3k requests per second to their site to buy 500 tickets. After the sell all the tickets they post information on how long it took for all the tickets to be sold. For example, this year all the tickets sold out in 2 minutes and 2.58 seconds.

    Due to being a business I am not sure which information you would choose to withhold, but I think providing information on how many requests to the site, how many items were sold in the first 5 minutes of the sale, and anything else that might be interesting would reduce the number of upset people that didn't get the item they wanted at 50% off.

    I really like the idea of that! Although - I must say 1000 posts is quite a hefty requirement. I am not even sure if moderators have that much under their belt?
  15. Haha.. I'm not sure that more than 50% is absolutely necessary. Perhaps sales more often would be good enough considering upgrading/upkeeping gear is a progressive thing. I'm glad for this message though... the is a very clear lack of negativity, and a clear sense of explaining things. Looking forward to the future of this! :D

    Based on the link that I clicked on there - 3 members have over 1000 posts. That seems like QUITE the hefty requirement in my honest opinion. Of course - I do not believe Min meant 1000 literally.

    I think I have this issue of being over loyal to Razer; on the CES sale couldn't actually find anything that I wanted, never mind needed as I have pretty much the whole catalogue now anyway! ;)

    If I recall correctly, last year they released the amount of time it took for certain products to sell out. Needless to say, certain products were gone within a matter of seconds due to the overwhelming demand.
