Chat/Game Balance

Hi, I have a problem with my Razer Kraken TE earphones. The Chat/Game Balance switch on the Audio Controller is acting odd. When I am on Discord and also in some game, both Discord and the game seems to be recognised as a Game. I have to switch to Game option on the Audio Controller and both are voluming up, when I switch to Chat option, both the game and Discord are voluming down. I bought the Earphones mainly because of this great function, which now does not work properly. I couldn't find anything in the settings to make it right.
