I have a full Chroma set and the one feature I feel I'm missing is 'GameSense'.

I have been playing with a SteelSeries Siberia for while and the ingame lighting effects are very impressive. The SteelSeries software currently supports CSGO and Minecraft, you can customise the lights to display Ammo levels, kills, etc. As a Razer fan this is the one thing Chroma needs, I'm imaging my Kraken changing colour as I shoot.

Hopefully this will come at some point with people playing with the Chroma SDK, I feel it should be a native Synapse feature however, feature request Min-liang!

This youtube vid shows the gamesense lighting

One of the community developers may or may not be working on something similar. Stay tuned.

Seriously I don't think something like "GameSense" is needed. Just think about it. Who would look at mouse while shooting. Same with ammo and health. It's so weird:
    - Just take a look on my mouse. I have low ammo so I need to reload..
    - No sh*t sherlock. You can see it on the screen without losing focus from the game
    That's my opinion about it.

@njbmartin Thanks for the response, I guessed the community would be trying to mod something like this, official support is welcome though where you can opt in for GameSense for particular games using Synapse.

@Hardgear Agree it's not necessarily - nevertheless it would still look awesome

It just looks impressive when you've got friends over. Wait... what are friends?

I believe what u looking for is chroma sdk. Which was already started long time ago. Correct me if im wrong but i think the demo is already announced in CES. The color of the BWC changed to fit the environment of the game.

Since Chroma SDK is mainly for coder and released long time ago. i doubt that u guys are working on an update for Synapse to simplify the setup. And when it's announced, forget about GameSense

Only type of "game sense" I personally like is what Sonic Radar offers.

Thanks for the reply, the video is quite impressive but after looking around in the forums there are very limited mods to try, most require extra downloads to work and are buggy, I can't find that Shroud of the Avatar mod anywhere either.

First up an update to Razer Synapse is needed in order to these mods, rather than hunting around the forums and Reddit.

Also I would personally prefer to have an official Music Visualiser and 'Game Sense' made by Razer, community mods seem to require other software to work, and rely on the community to make the mod for the games I play. I cannot find any CS:GO mods so far that assign keys to flash when I shoot, or Kraken Chroma lights to change with health or anything like that.

I feel Razer are a bit slow on this, my chroma gear have stayed on Spectrum Cycling for the past 9 months.

While I agree it would be great if Razer had their own official visualiser or something similar to GameSense, it's not something on their todo list as the engineers have plenty to work on as it is. Either way, not all games would be supported as each game would need to be manually supported / modded by the system (like GameSense).

The community has potential to do so much more than Razer would be able to do :)

It's possible to achieve this with the open SDK, but some pre installed plugins for popular games would be nice too

the SDK is for community development ?. Razer should make this for us :s.
I would like if the F row of keys reflected how much ammo i have in CSGO by them changing colour. would also like a health indicator by dimming the lights depending on what % of health i have. This kind of stuff shouldn't be left to the community to develop we paid enough for these keyboards ?
If the lights changed color or got dimmer/turned off then it would be pretty obvious you were low on ammo or health without looking at the keyboard. keyboard is usually in my field of view when playing i wouldn't have to look directly at it to tell

  18. Looks awesome. Hope the SDK will get something out like this soon.

While I agree with the suggestions, I don't agree with your stance that Razer should provide. That's the whole point of the SDK. They're more focused on the hardware than the software, and it's a lot of work to support a particular game, so that kind of thing is best left to the community.

Looks like Razer are listening with Synapse support coming soon for the Audio Visualiser. @Razer|Technokat

I'm still hopeful for Razer official support for game sense :)
