While I could very easily do a number of things myself, I believe that a sustainable future is in sharing ideas with other developers.

Here's one from Goran Fischer on the FB post today:

    Here's my concept:

You could set up the macro keys to correspond to open up a particular app... the SDK could then essentially allow a developer to listen for notifications from that app and flash the corresponding macro key when a notification comes in.

An idea, lighting effects in sync with music/audio.

i was thinking, when we plug in usb drive in the keyboard right side, would create a ripple flowing from right to left, a simple one, indicating we plugged in something. get it get it?

i wish i could have done it myself, it's just an idea, i'm no dev

This is quite a nifty little idea. Possibly one that Razer could implement into the Synapse app ;)

would love this too, with a selectable input device to listen to sound. (for example could choose if I want the visualizer to listen to my microphone or my computer sound output)

As much as I'd love to dive straight into creating a visualiser, I'm concentrating on things that are less for showing off and more useful.

I'd like the f keys to change colour when low on ammo in cs:go, also an indicator for bomb plant and hostage capture would be cool if possible

Don't know how you'd do this but maybe a way that you could set up a timer and your keyboard start flashing when your alarm goes off. Could be nice if you are someone who forgets time when they are behind their pc, yet you could also just use a audio alarm when I think of it :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
    Maybe a combination?

Or something like what those backlight tv's have. That the keyboard shows the same overall color as what is on the screen at that moment.

Predict input. Type in "Th" and the 'e', 'o', 'i', 'r' keys light up (You'd probably want to be careful about passwords though!). Browser tab starts playing noise, volume keys light up.

Oh, you could also adjust the keyboard color to match the wallpaper, like the Windows taskbar/Unity launcher.

Different reactive effect: If you press on a key, the light turn on at 20% of lightning, press more times to make it light at 100% :D

    CSGO:
FN keys (Including ESC): indicates your health, white = 100%, pink = 50%, red = 0% (transitioning from white to red as your health goes down).

Numpad: Bomb indicator, flashing from white to red slowly when the bomb has been planted, gradually flashing faster when the 45 sec. timer is ticking down. When the bomb explodes at 0 seconds it sends a yellow ripple across the keyboard from the numpad.

Macro keys: Shows how many players on your team are left alive (5 lit if 5 players are alive, 1 lit if 1 person is alive).

All other keys can be spectrum cycling, or can have a CSGO key template.

I'd be so happy if someone made that :D

I just got a Chroma yesterday (used from ebay). I've been involved with the Corsair RGB keyboard and did the initial unofficial USB driver stuff for it where I made a cool bar graph spectrum visualizer. I intend to port that to the Chroma SDK, hopefully after work today if it's easy. I also want to write a Linux driver for it eventually, not with the official SDK of course.

how about integrating a sort of radar system so that wherever audio is playing in the game the direction will show up on your keyboard on the 3x3 key bunch above the arrow keys
