Cleaning the speakers?

    Hi!
    Has anyone found a good way to clean the speakers? This phone has amazing sound but the design the speakers have causes a lot of dirt to get jammed in the small holes....
    I have shot air a couple of times but it does not clean to my liking and i am always afraid of breaking something internally by doiing this... Has someone found a good and simpler way to do this?

    Do you know any kids that make and play with slime? I'm totally serious about this and this is not an official recommendation, it comes from me personally, but that stuff works really well on gadgets for cleaning and picking up dust. Obviously don't use any that are super liquidy, but I used it once to clean a keyboard - omg, it was amazing.

    You can also buy cleaning putty or DIY with a few household items. Google it and give it a shot!

    I don't think so, I have never had a problem. And you can also try @Dekades solution. Seems "Intruiging".

    Yeah I hit mine lightly with compressed air once but I am hesitant to do that anymore, don't want to just force the dust deeper into the phone or damage the nice speakers. I think the putty idea sounds pretty good. Shop vac vacuum was going to be my next idea. Similar to the compressed air... I don't think an average vacuum could pull hard enough to damage a speaker but kinda afraid to find out. The putty is likely the safest thing to try.

    Also, Cleaning Putty or reusable mounting putty (Blu Tak, Blue Stick, Scott Mounting Putty)

    These work great for cleaning the speaker grills and also for Dust removal in lieu of a sticker, when preparing for screen protector.
