    It literally is, lol.

I mean a music streaming platform, we all know that's the worst investment right now. Rdio (a great streaming service) went under some time ago for thinking they could compete with the likes of Pandora, Spotify, iTunes/Apple Music, and Google Play music. Quite a few other music streaming services did too.

In-ear buds? Doesn't make sense. They wouldn't state,"LISTEN for our most ground breaking announcement..." for just some in-ear buds. Especially when they already have 3 in-ear buds.

A smartphone in this day and age, is said to be an all-in one device, "Watch, Listen, and Play." It would tie in all Razer services into one: Gaming (mobile), Audio, and Streaming (Android TV).

A smartphone with the backing of their investments Nextbit, Ouya, and THX would be their biggest announcement because it is where they've invested the most time and money into.

A first for any company would seem to be their biggest announcement.

Also, you can't spot any earphones in the teaser pic. The thing that's focus on in the teaser is what the guy has in his hand, and it's pretty apparent it's a mobile device.

This interview (Also to add, this interview was a year ago, October 20, 2016)with Co-Founder/CEO Min-Liang Tan also bodes well to the idea it will be an Android Smartphone:

    He states:

"Ultimately though, keep in mind that gaming is one of the few if not only sector which is growing aggressively in the PC space so that bodes incredibly well for us and who knows, maybe the PC ends up becoming a pure entertainment platform in the future. If that happens, of course we will be there, if that doesn’t happen, we will still be focussed on any platform that brings a great amount of value to gamers.

Mobility is something that is on our radar, Android is something we are excited about, of course we tend to be more focussed on performance gaming. Android is maturing to be a platform that is “good enough” for core games and we are excited about that. Other than that, I can’t say.

The things we typically get asked most for are:

    1. When are your systems coming to Europe?! Well we put that to rest today.
    2. What about a mobile phone from Razer?
    3. A gaming monitor from Razer?

Gamers aren’t so pigeonholed today as a PC gamer or a console gamer. What we see is that the hardcore gamer who is playing Starcraft or whatever is also playing Clash Royale on his mobile phone. So what I can say is that we are excited about this entire spectrum, every time we move into a new industry, everyone sort of sits up and says “great! Razer is opening it up for us!” So we just want to make sure we take our time with anything new and get it right."
Don't mind me, I'm just reporting what I see. I'm super excited for what's to come November 1st. I need something new and different.

I found when Razer's CEO/Co-Found Min-Liang Tan told CNBC that RAZER is "developing a mobile device that will be ready by the end of the year," In this Interview

    In the statement:
"One of the most hotly rumored things about Razer is that we're coming up with a mobile device. And I can say that we are coming up with a mobile device specifically geared toward gamers and entertainment," Min-Liang Tan, CEO and co-founder of Razer," told CNBC's Managing Asia.

"The mobile market is one of those that we've taken a long-term view to look at ... We realized that a lot of our gamers are also passionate about the mobile gaming market, so we've done a couple of moves."
So we can at least confirm, it's some kind of mobile device.
