Connecting External HD to Chroma Laptop Stand

Hi all,

Probably a noob question but I've just received my Chroma Laptop Stand for my Razer 15 Base model. I've connected 2 of its USB ports, one for the wireless mouse and keyboard (all working fine) and one for my external hard-drive. I believe the port to be working as the external hard drive is lit up.

Normally - when going straight into one of the laptop USB ports - I'll just open an explorer window and see the external drive listed on the left. When it's plugged into the Chroma stand it's not showing in my list?

Any ideas where I need to go to view the external drive?

Thanks

Hi there! The Razer Laptop Stand Chroma has three USB 3.0 ports. Ensure that your external hard drive is compatible with USB 3.0. Please replicate the behavior by connecting the external hard drive to your computer's USB port.
Thanks for the reply!

The external Hard-Drive is USB 3.1 Gen1 (Asus FX Aura). Plugged directly into the USB port of the laptop it appears fine in my explorer menu as 😨. Plugged into one of the USB ports of the laptop stand the hard-drive lights up - telling me it's on - but I can't find it anywhere in my explorer window.
