  1. I think it's really no use, it just happened again in this exact moment. Shame tho, was so smooth. I think I'll have to RMA too then.

so i got to do some gaming today and got stuck keys twice on different keys :slightly_sad:,new keyboard same problem :slightly_sad:

  7. I'm very sorry to hear that. This issue needs to be considered a bit more by Razer. It may even be a pointless software issue that neither of us could figure out, maybe not even related with Synapse, but we can't go on like this.

Home mine comes back working, cause otherwise I would feel completely lost regarding this.

It's pretty frustrating :slightly_sad:, I hope ur replacement doesn't have the same problem. Messaged mentality and contacted razer support again. I'll post back if I get a reply I'm not sure what they are going to say now :s

:slightly_sad:, razer support aren't being much help at the mo. they said that if I think my new keyboard is defective that I should send it back for replacement but its unlikely that 2 in a row are defective and that he believes ye problem lies within my system. But other keyboards work fine and i tested the last keyboard on a laptop and was having the same issues :slightly_sad: so I doubt it's my system :slightly_sad:. I don't know what to do this issue is so frustrating

Having a similar issue with my Deathstalker ($79.99 model). Bought it a little over a year ago so it's out of warranty, but I keep getting a "sticking keys" situation. I narrowed it down to Synapse though, as long as I don't have Synapse installed, it works fine but as soon as it gets installed, I'll have random stuck keys every day or so.

  11. It may not be synapse but just a problem of drivers maybe. It is quite of a problem tho. I am waiting my replacement keyboard and I sincerely hope it has no problem at all., otherwise:

    1. I'll ask for further analysis on the potential Synapse problem, if there is one, since it's not taken seriously, and if it's conflicting with something (ie. some windows updates or another program), I expect Razer to take care or at least study that.

    2. An extension of the refund period, to at least ask a refund after you already RMA's the keyboard once.

I've had this happen to my new Blackwidow Chroma (not stealth), where a couple of keys have acted as if they are held down until they are pressed again.

It doesn't seem like a mechanical failure to me though, more like the code running on the processor inside the keyboard hasn't detected the change in state, causing it to still be registered as pressed.

  13. I have just received my replacement for the BlackWidow Chroma I RMA'd. I will keep you updated on the status of it in a few days.

  14. will wait for your feedback :)

  15. I am getting my replacement tomorrow. Will also keep you guys up to date!

Like many of you, I'm having this same issue with my BW chroma green switch, occasionally, my Q or E would continue to register until they pressed again(strafe left/right in wow), I raid mythic and it always came at the worse time!! I brought it back to the store (memory express in Vancouver)and had it exchanged with no hassle, unfortunately, the 2nd brand new Chroma is doing the exact same thing! I've never had issues like this with my Filco Ninja blue switch, and CM storm trigger blue switch. I actually at first went for the K70 RGB brown switch, changed my mind solely for the brighter lights in Razer Chroma's, now I'm drowning in my regrets.
I don't expect this problem to fix itself, but wonder if anyone has tried with a USB/PS2 adapter to counter this problem? as it seems like a ghosting issue.

  17. Hi guys/ladies

Well I just got my unit back and surprise surprise (Not really) the unit has exactly the same problem, I go about testing it as I found that softly tapping (Or double tapping) any key replicates this fault. So it seems to happen when tapping very lightly on the keys. (Please test it for yourselves and reply on if this is your problem as well)

Please note that it takes some tries to replicate this on something like Word or NotePad.

EDIT: It might be that the keys come up too quickly then the problem occurs, as if the keyboard doesn't notice the key was unpressed. This is just a theory but I just tested it again while typing this, with the spacebar, and I notice in the way I test it is pressing (More like tapping) it down at almost on the actuation point then quickly releasing it.

I doubt this is a hardware problem but if it is Razer might have to call back all units sold in the last couple of months or even the last year.

    My specs are:

Windows 8.1 Pro 64bit (Synapse Installed (Also tested with it uninstalled (Which scares me to say the least))
    8GB RAM 1666 mhz
GIGABYTE Z77X-UD3H (Using the keyboard on USB 3 Ports)
    GTX760 MSI 2GB
    Core i5 3450 LGA1155

This info might be irrelevant to the case but by this point I'm guessing everything is.

  18. UPDATE: Did some more extensive testing and it does not need to be double tapped to cause this issue, a single light tap that reaches the actuation point CAN cause it.

  19. Sorry for YET ANOTHER post but I feel it can only help.

Noticed that when the key starts looping in Word or Notepad I can press another key and it would stop, here is a very lame example:

    11111111111111111111111111111111111112

Something that also indicated a probable software or firmware problem.

Something that baffles me though is that in something like GTA V, when it starts looping, it would only stop if the key that is looping gets pressed.

Nice find thanks for the post :)
Nice find, I never noticed that but I know in cs:go and gtaV the key gets stuck until that particular key gets struck again and pressing other keys doesn't unstick the stuck key. Have u noticed this more than once u didnt just hit 2 keys by accident ?.
Support suggested that the problem is my system despite the fact there's like 30 of us now having the same problem on different setups.
    My specs;
Windows 7 ultimate x64, fully up to date
Asus rampage II extreme, X58 chipset (USB 2.0)
    i7 920
    3x2gb 1600mhz ocz gold
    Intel 730 480gb SSD + Samsung SSD
    Inno3D GTX980
750W coolermaster real power pro psu
