Cortex and Synapse not working.

Nothing happens when I try to run Cortex or Synapse, I don't even get an error message. Ive deleted and reinstalled both twice now, and tried running with administrator and my graphics card, and both did nothing. the error log shows nothing and troubleshooting says everything is fine.
