Cracking Sound on New Razer Blade?

  1. Hey,

I'm having an issue with my Razer Blade (the one with the 1060). Pretty much anytime when I have two sounds going on at the same time (e.g. a youtube video while playing a game) the sound of both becomes incredibly cracked sounding and low quality. I never experienced that with other computers, so I am assuming this is a Blade issue.

Has someone else experienced this and solved this maybe?

I have a skylake 1060, but don't experience that though. Maybe you should contact razer tech support for it.

Mine, Kabylake has also no such issues. Maybe a driver update? If still exist, try to contact support.

Do you have Razer Surround Pro installed?
I have a very similar problem in that sometimes when I ply sound it will just sound really distorted and crackly, like the old days if you had a loose wire on your car speakers.

I resolve it every time by clicking on the speaker icon in the taskbar, and switching the playback device from
    'Speakers (Razer Surround Audio Driver)'
    to
    'Speakers (Realtek High Definition Audio)'
