So I just got a Razer Blackwidow Chroma v2...

I know how to change the default view of the keyboard, and I can see that I can link some of my games to tbe keyboard. However, even with that link, the lightning does not change when I run the games...

However what I can not seem to figure out, is something as simple as creating a lighting profile for a game.

I have searched for how-toes and have come up short.

Can someone here please help with an explanation on how to create a lighting effect for a specific game?

Oh and how do I get the games I can select work with a profile?

You go into the Profiles tab in Synapse 3 and there you have your keyboard. You need to add all the games that you want to have a lightning profile in the keyboard section. Tho the most played games usually have a default chroma effect that it activates when the game it started, you need to add the games in the keyboard profile for that to take place. If you want to make your own effects, just create another profile with your personal favorite lights and switch to it when you start gaming.

Thanks for replying. What you describe is what I did. I selected the games to be linked to the keyboard - and Synapse showed the same.
However when I start a game, nothing changes to the default lighting of the keyboard. The "G" ikon" lights up, so the software does recognize that I am in a game.
I even tried to make my own lightning and linked a game to it, but that didnt work either.

Now I am going to try and install Synapse version 2, to see if that works.

If it doesnt, do you have any other idea why Synapse 3 does not work? Have I missed something obvious?

Synapse 2 works as far as I am able to load in a profile for a game (a profile I downloaded). I can link that profile to the game and the lightning will change when I start the game. However in Synapse 2, as far as I can tell, Ill have to find and download profiles for all my games, where as Synapse 3 did that for me. Is that correctly understood?

You need to check the games that have a chroma integration here and see which games have or don't. Those should be working by themselves when you start playing them, the effects are not quite amazing but you can tell when they are. If you have BW V2 it works only with Synapse 3 since it's a later release and it's with the upcoming software version 3.0. And for example when i play Overwatch the lights effects doesn't start until a match is found and i'm entering in, the effects take place from when i choose the hero. But all of the games which have integration should work some sort. As far as i know in Synapse 3 you can import game profiles but there have been some problems with them working. So just make your own profile and switch to it when you start gaming.

Okay, I do have the BW v2, and this does explain why I don't see any effects as I don't play most of these games and haven't tested the ones which are on the list with Synapse 3.

However, I did create my own lighting profile in the Chroma studio (I think it's called) and linked it to BF1.
When I played BF1, nothing changed.

Did I do something wrong or what are the steps to creating your own game lighting and linking it to a game?
