Hi all, I just saw D2D's new review on the Razer Blade 14 (really nice review btw, I recommend you watch it), and he showed the new option from dbrand to cover the logo on the Razer systems. What's your opinion on this? I am considering choosing this option as the Razer logo is a little conspicuous, but it does look a little awkward to have a plain lid. The skin will be for the Razer Blade Stealth, so maybe the smaller footprint will help improve the look?. Please share your opinions. Thanks.
DBrand has some high quality skins but one problem I have with DBrand skins is that it does not cover the palm rest area. Other than that, it is pretty damn solid.
they use 3M material which is pretty strong and cannot be ripped out that easily. Had it on my nexus and worked great. Do not install if your hands are shakey.
I say the covered looks a lot cleaner but that's my personal opinion with it. I agree with @spider2k, it would seem a little awkward, logo included.
I know I would rather have the logo cut out. Having it covered would ruin part of the whole appeal of having a razer laptop.
I would buy the skins with the logo showing, i think it looks nicer, dont have it personally as the shipping to UK is quite high
Added benefit to hiding it completely is the ability to trick people into thinking you are using a black Macbook
If I get a Blade (Stealth), I'd like the logo to show. It's a nice touch, though if you're insistent on a skin like gold or red, perhaps having the bright green logo would be too clashy. Also, I don't know about you guys, but I'm really digging the mahogany skin. That would look sick with the glowing green logo.
I feel like a Chroma logo would be nice so that you could change the colour to white in a more professional setting.
I love Dbrand I have it on my phone but nah I won't cover my Blade Stealth with one, I like it the way it is
