DeathAdder 3.5G sensor fix

Hello,

My DeathAdder 3.5G mouse's IR sensor is malfunctioning. The light on the sensor will not come on, and the cursor does not move. All other functions of the mouse are still operational: all buttons still work, as does the scroll wheel, and the scroll wheel and logo lights still come on. I have tried every available USB port on my computer, and while my PC recognizes that a device is being plugged in/removed, the cursor functionality does not return. I have also installed and updated Synapse, per the recommended solutions. The instructions I found for this problem advised contacting Support after all the other solutions have been attempted, so here I am. Are there any other possible solutions? I am very desperate to have a functioning mouse. Thank you!
