Deathadder Elite Scroll Click Has Gone

So i bought my mouse off my friend a year ago and it had no problems it worked completely fine until at least 2 months ago the middle click started not registering so i google it and someone said to click and hold very hard, so i did and it worked. Now this past week it has stopped working completely and wont click at all even if i press really hard.
what should i do, i currently cant really afford a new mouse and really need the middle click functionality

I assume you don't have warranty for it, so I'd disassemble it and try cleaning the middle (scroll) switch (it's a square one).
If it will not help - you can only replace - solder a new one - it's fairly easy and cheap to do.

Ok Thanks for the help, would you happen to know where i can get a replacement and what they are called because after a quick google search i seem to find a lot of them.
Good advice @FiszPL

The old rumour of pressing harder to make it works, only works for a short while until it actually breaks. Options are either, warranty repair, replace or follow the DIY tips as posted above by @FiszPL

Good luck, and hope you get it sorted quickly!

Having a look at those switches it doesn't look like it will fit the height of the mouse wheel.
