Deathadder Elite stuck at Max sensitivity, and side buttons no longer work

My Razer deathadder Elite which I have used for 3 years with no problem suddenly got stuck on the max DPI. The buttons to adjust the DPI on the top, as well as the 2 buttons on the side also stopped working (I got quite used to using them as the forward and back buttons when browsing the internet). I downloaded razer synapse, and when I calibrated it to a custom mousepad it got better, but still wasnt my original DPI. This also is not a great solution because whenever my computer goes to sleep or restarts, it resets the calibration, and I need to do it all over again. In order to use the mouse, I need to turn the computer's sensitivity all the way down, and it is still quite sensitive. I also would really like a fix to the side buttons. Has anyone else experienced this issue? I have tried reseting everything, redownloading drivers and things like that. Because the device is 3 years old, Razer support wont take my ticket so I would really appreciate some assistance. Thanks!
