Deathadder mouse weights

So for some reason Razer has stopped catering to people that prefer heavier mice and the build quality is no longer as good.

Does anyone know if it's possible to add mouse weights and change the mouse button switches? I like the shape and the sensor, but honestly every mouse after the Chroma series is a step down. Buttons aren't even nor responsive the way they should be.

And yes, I've bought them directly on the Razer store, and I bought 2x Essentials, a DA Elite, V2 and V2 Special edition so it's not like I didn't try.

I'd love to buy a couple of Chroma's if anyone knows a store (Amazon just has fake ones)

First answer is yes, but needs modding.
2nd answer = it depends on the model you have. If you have DA V2(Pro)/Mini - they have optical switches, so you cannot change the mouse switches for a different brand (technically it's possible, but it requires A LOT of modding). If you have DA Elite (or older model) = no problem with changing switches, but they're require soldering.
Sadly it's a DA V2 Special Edition so I'm guessing optical switches.. Well on the plus side I know to never buy optical switches again.

I did buy a soldering iron and I got a DA Elite in a box too so might try to swap the Chroma switches for that. Also added a Mamba Elite (arrived today) to the collection so will try that one first. Still sad for Deathadder series I've used for some 16 years now. The shape and original weight are still best in class, and despite the awful optical switches on the DA V2, the sensor is amazing
