Lancehead is what I've heard is best. Otherwise deatheradder elite. I have a Mamba and it is terrible, sadly. Other I would recommend a g900

I have a Lancehead TE mice but would love to also test out Deathadder Elite since I play FPS mostly. Regarding Lancehead TE, if an ambidextrous design doesn't bother you then I'd say it's such a nice mice to have. It also has an onboard memory which will allow you to store up to 5 profiles (Synapse 3 required).

About Deathadder Elite, I've never had this mouse yet but a friend told me that he's been using one (Deathadder original) for more than 2 years and he's been satisfied with it.

Try to watch some YT reviews of whatever mice you prefer and see if your grip style and hand size will go along with it.

DeathAdder - the best optical sensor, Mamba (wireless & TE versions) are using laser sensor, which have problem sometimes in FPS games (Z-Axis bug).

The fixed Mamba is the new one Mamba HyperFlux (not released yet) - but it has the same sensor as DeathAdder Elite (PMW3389).

Other recommended mouses are: Lancehead TE (wired, NOT the wireless version), Basilisk (designed especially for FPS games) and Naga Trinity. All mouses are using the same optical sensor.

DeathAdder IMO is the most "universal" mouse for most people. If you don't have ability to try other mouses (Lancehead TE, Basilisk) in some local shop - buy DA E - you'll be pleased with it :)

I'm using a Deathadder Chroma now, using it for about a year. Pretty decent mouse for its price. Doesn't have too many buttons to click that's why I like it - its simplicity. It's comfortable to hold as well. And I like it because it's not too light (personal preference).

However, 2 problems I've encountered with it:

    (1) The rubber grips at the sides are quite irritating because it peels off after a while. Also, it's hard to clean (my dead skin cells, etc). My next mouse will definitely not have this rubber grip.
    (2) The scroll wheel is a bit spoilt, i.e. when I'm scrolling it, it sometimes doesn't "catch" onto the mechanism on the inside. So, it becomes a "loose" scroll. Hope you get what I'm saying. Like there's no feedback. Just a smooth scroll. Gonna get it replaced soon since it's under warranty.

I haven't tried the mamba so I can't do a comparison. Hope this helps.

If you already have one, I'd try Basilisk for sure.
