Deathadder V2 Unable to Update Firmware - Disconnecting and Reconnecting When Plugged in Via USB

Hey all,

I bought a Deathadder Pro V2 around year ago, and had no issues with it until it started stuttering/disconnecting and reconnecting today.

I jumped on the support page and followed the below tips:

- Cleaned out the sensor with a Q-tip. Same issues.
- Ensured the mouse is fully charged. It was 80% when the issues began, but wanted to cover all bases. Same issues.
- Mouse is switched on. Attempted to use it with the dongle in my PC and with the bluetooth with my work laptop, and both presented the disconnect issues
- Moved the dongle to another USB port. Wasn't too confident of this one, as it's been working fine for over a year now. Same issues.

My next step was to update the firmware, which is when the worst symptom appeared. For whatever reason, when the mouse is plugged in via USB cable, it's also disconnecting and reconnecting. This happened with the original cord it came with, with the cord that I had from an older Razer Lancehead and another micro USB cable I had lying around.

I tried 3 different USB ports in my machine, all with the same results. Unfortunately now that the firmware made it to this point, my mouse is completely bricked and there's nothing that I can do with it. I'm hoping that there might be some form of troubleshooting that I can try, because up until now this was actually a pretty great mouse.

Any help would be appreciated!

Same issues here. Waiting for a response. Razer, please act timely. It's been more than a week now.

This is a possible hardware issue. By the way, try installing the Razer Driver Clean-up tool. Once done, restart your computer, and reinstall all your Razer Synapse 3.0. Feel free to submit a case to our Support Team or send me a PM, and I'd be glad to assist. I'll be locking this thread now.
