Clicked refresh and everything went out of stock
  2. Originally wanted the Mamba TE but it went OOS so I got my second choice, the Diamondback CE.

Great choice! I think the Diamondback looks rather elegant, if I was shopping for a new mouse it would definitely come down to the either diamondback or the Taipan. You'll need to let us know how you like it.

I was hoping to grab a Leviathan mini for the CES sale. However, the mini has yet to be ready for the Asia AP region. Hopefully, the stock can be available real soon.

I'm from EU, could get it ;)
  6. No, I did not get anything I wanted in this sale. Or anything period. This is the second time I have been disappointed by Razer. The first being the Carcharias headset I bought after Iraq. The mic was shot and no one could hear me talk. Then the volume on the headset itself wouldnt adjust at all and I was stuck changing volume with my system.

I have heard that Razer makes quality keyboards. I really wanted the Blackwidow Chroma stealth, but it was out of stock. I opted to get the louder version. 8:56pm EST I was at work with my login linked, my accouny logged in, I checked multiple times to ensure it was in stock, had it loaded into my cart and had the code pasted in the box ready to hit the add code button. 9pm hit and I entered the code. Next thing I know, 503 errors everywhere. I knew there would be problems, but it completely erased my cart and logged me out! I had zero chance to get anything. By 9:04pm, they were sold out. I was super bummed out to say it lightest. I typed an email and am still awaiting a response. There are not speaking out on the issue. They left us in the dark on customer appreciation day. Not even any apologies or promises of backorder items for those that experenced issues. There has to be a way to tell who was logged in at 9pm EST and who had what in their cart.

I gave up. And I will give up for good on Razer if they don't hold up to their promises. Later that day the Stealth was back in stock with an "add to cart" button, but when you pressed it your cart would remain empty. This makes it feel like they just wanted to sell out of all their crappier peripherals and bank money they would have lost in the first place. I understand I should be grateful for there even being a 50% off sale, but at the same time its kind of like being at line on Black Friday and being shoved out of line and punched in the ...face and not receiving anything but a "try again next time" from the store.

I won't disagree that these type of sales don't come with a lot of frustration, as I've been in similar situations in the past. Unfortunately there isn't much that can be done, as every year Razer stresses that there will be huge amount of traffic that will cause havoc on the servers and that the quantities are limited. It seems you have definitely done everything you could have to prepare for the sale, but in my experience you also need a lot of luck to ensure you don't get hit with a lot of website issues. The Blackwidow Chroma Stealth also did not come back into stock, the website just glitched and is displaying the "Add to Cart" button. Since there is no actual inventory at the moment, it will actually prevent you from adding the item to your cart.

As far as the time stamps are concerned, I don't think that makes a difference either. It doesn't matter who accessed the website first or who added the item to their cart first. The terms state that a code does not guarantee purchase, and purchase is only guaranteed when you have a confirmation number. As far as back orders are concerned that has been discussed in numerous other posts, if you get a chance and are interested in such a discussion I suggest you use the search option to look those up.

And in my personal experience Razer does make quality keyboards, my Deathstalker alone has been with me for several years and despite a few moves it is still in perfect condition.

It's very unfortunate you were not able to partake in this sale, hopefully you fare better next time if you decide to come back.

YA I def feel ya on the 503 errors and being booted back to the empty cart screen, that happened several times for me when I was trying to get my first choice the siren pro, I was shouting at my PC that it was bull! and worried I wouldn't get it, and in the end I did not, but the second I knew it wasn't going to happen and I switched the the regular siren I was fortunate enough to not get another 503 and got to order the product. these sales are very hit or miss and there will always be those who feel more slighted than graced. this is my 3rd sale I have been a part of and the first one I got nothing but the second one I was lucky enough to get my top pick with no errors, but this time I got quite a few errors but was still able to get what I wanted by the skin of my teeth! so don't judge the sale too harshly and understand that a code is not entitlement but an entrance stamp, and take the sale for what it is, appreciation for the fans and a way to clear stock.

Did exactly the same with my wildcat

Put in my cart 2 mins before the sale and pasted in the code into the box and hit apply straight on the dot of 9am and saled through the purchase within a minute. All went smooth and well xD

    No, unfortunately.

My first item of choice went out of stock as I had to re-enter the shipping address and then I headed over to grab my second item of choice and there wasn't a payment method available for me (PayPal).
  15. I got my Blackwidow Chroma :D Thanks Razer!

I am waiting (and I will still be waiting a few more days even if I paid £15 express delivery fee) for the Blackwidow 2016 Edition.

The 'secret' is to have your delivery&payment details already saved and have the product in your basket and at '00 to apply the code then place the order. I placed my order a few seconds after 9.00 :big_grin_:

At first I was disappointed. I was trying to buy the Orochi but I couldn't get to enough price in the cart to get free shipping so I ended up paying 14 dollars for shipping instead of just adding 14 dollars more of stuff. But then I read all of your stories and I realize I made it out extremely lucky because I did it:

    - From my phone
    - At a bowling alley
    - While bowling
    - In the middle of nowhere with a barely-there data connection

    So I guess I made it out okay. While $53 for a $69 mouse isn't a huge discount I think I'll be happy. :D
