I'm completely disappointed with the EU RazerStore for a number of reasons:
    • No delivery options: Only express delivery available which costs minimum 35 EUR regardless of product size, weight etc. (which seems extremely weird)
    • Shipping costs: Way too expensive for a company (ie I can send parcels in EU with 20 EUR)
    • If you can't for whatever reason lower your shipping costs at least add delivery options.
    • Products more expensive than physical stores: There are many stores that actually sell Razer Products at a lower price than RazerStore.
    • Lack of support: Conducted the RazerStore support via the online form for an issue regarding delivery options and I'm still waiting for a reply 5 days later.
For the above reasons I see absolutely no reason on using online RazerStore!

I don't really like making those remarks, but I felt obliged to. I'm pretty sure that many others will agree with me.

What's sad is that I'll get any Razer product quicker (with cheaper shipping costs) via Amazon or even the Best Buy store (their standard free shipping arrives in around 3-4 days) than if I ordered directly from the Razer Store. Very disappointing.

I agree here in Canada too, your better off just buying from some retailer like bestbuy or staples around here.

One thing I would add though, Razer uses third party distributor / warehouse companies to ship their products worldwide, and the shipping company and all of that goes though the company Razer picks as far as I know. This means Razer can't do a whole lot about shipping prices or options, unless they just move to a different company altogether.

They can't do a lot but especially a distributor should have even better shipping costs due to long term contracts with courier companies. Sadly that's not the case with the Razer distributor, whoever that may be, as they have even more expensive shipping costs than those one random civilian can get. It makes NO sense to me.

Personally I've had nothing but good experiences with the Razer store for delivery and customer support.

I agree though that for sub £100 products, delivery is too much.

Lot's of companies have their products at full price on their own website. They have to so that they can be "discounted" by companies like amazon (It's better for Razer to have people like Amazon buy and handle stock and logistics).

The main reason I've used the store is for things you can't buy (Amazon couldn't get, and had no time scale for the 4k razer blade while the Razer store has had one since mid August!).

Also stuff like power supplies etc. You have to remember Razer are a manufacturer not really a distributer.

For a contact remember is you dont have phone support you have always online chat with razer support that can help you with your order. I have few complains but this is for thir system that dont update status of order so the support dont quite know to help the coustmer becose dont have actual info. For shipping like you write you can always buy something for 89 euro in my region to get free shipping for small order below shop in local store to save menoy. I know local store have hardwere avalible later but in this moment you dont have any other choise. Razer will change they store in some point so more feedback will be great to give them know something is not good in this oder system :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

For me in canada shipping is 14$
Free shipping offer on cart value above CA$109

I get extra value by using promo codes. WHY would I not use promo codes

    Here is an example cart
Razer Kraken Tournament Edition - Green - CA$139.99
    Razer Gaming Headset Stand -Free
    Subtotal*
    CA$139.99
    Shipping* Free
    Tax CA$18.20
    Total CA$158.19

newegg.ca also has for 139.99 with FS but i get no headset stand

this is just one example so YMMV

Great but you forget about one thing not everyone who buy or want to buy razer hardwere collect zsilver or zgold or they dont have enough to get discount. I want to point think about people who are not that far in comunity but they are razer coustmer !

I totally agree it would be great to have no postage, but I just don't think Razer are fully geared up for distribution etc. So can't offer these sorts of things as it effectively becomes a discount and they loose money.

Razer make some great products and arguably the best designs in the business, but they are still a fairly small company compared to Dell, HP and MSI etc.

To be fair though, try buying things through MSI, and the process is way worse. I asked if it was possible to buy a 4k version of their GT75 from their website in the UK and they replied a week later with a link to a totally different model with a 4k screen!!

So often places like Amazon will always be better/easier to buy through because that is their primary business, so they spend thousands on streamlining the experience.

Another really scary story is when I bought an Acer Predator, lovely laptop (until it overheated) - but there was no way to buy an additional power supply!! Which I had never thought to check for, but would have been a deal breaker if I had known.

Sorry to ramble a bit.. but comparing Razer to Amazon isn't really fair as the selling experience is Amazons key business (aside from AWS).

If you compare them to similar companies like Acer and MSI they win easily in my experience - both in terms of customer service and product accessories.

Dell are probably the only company to beat them, but they are much bigger and have invested a huge amount in the "customer experience"

In some aspect you have right but comparing to MSI or Acer is bit strange becose simmular companys are Corsair or Logitech who sell the same Staff like razer. mayby mayby razer dont care about own store i dont know and this will be strange becose this is pure money no second or third party vendor is included so i dont think they dont Focus to sell as many hardwere they can. The only problem is old model of buissnes that in 2018 with this market dont Focus to get more clients directly trough them and confusing inter messenging system with order that is not always update with actual status.

    you are right.
the one used in this case is on the website under promos
    https://www.razer.com/ca-en/promos/nov-deals/featured

I also think having more delivery options would be great. It could benefit all parties involved.
I can only assume the One size fits all is less of a hassle with distribution by providing consistency.

The delivery used to be so much worse for here in the UK (about £20-22 I think) now it's £10

For express from China that's a good price but agree there should be cheaper options but I don't think Razer want untracked options.

I chose MSI and Acer because they make laptops, and Corsair and Logitech are peripheral companies - which are way less complex and easier to store/stockpile etc.

With MSI you can't even buy a laptop from them, you have to go through a normal store (which means some options you can't even buy if you want one (eg Gt75 with 4k screen when I was looking).

And Acer don't sell additional power supplies for all their laptops.

So by comparison Razer are way ahead, and as ROX598 said, they ship everything from China/Hong Kong so don't do any local distribution which significantly increases their shipping costs.

I'm not saying they are perfect, but you can get most of their stuff through Amazon cheaper and with delivery included but you can also buy stuff directly if you want stuff early (eg 15" Blade) or unpopular choices eg silent versions of their gaming keyboards, mouse feet or laptop power supplies.

Personally I think they do very well and I would happily buy from them again (or buy their stuff through Amazon).

It's never as simple as "not charging for delivery" as stock control and warehouses in different countries becomes a serious cost/risk compared to letting other stores do that for them.

Yeah compare two difrent buissnes model is great example. With each hardwere company can do difrent things to get kess cost to sell.
like i write above they have less cost to this mayby less cost to store and ship ? You must know one thing if you buy on razer store you dont buy in your region online store so IRS is bind to country where is store register in europe is Hamburg so when i order entire IRS mayby there and they mayby becose i dont know for sure razer have less tax to ship hardwere and yeah storage is in hong kong mayby is less expensive to store there as one and dont rent difrent storage in every region they sell becose they must have then hardwere on stock.
I buy from razer store few Times and this give me fast delivry in 4 days, dhipment track and i have hardwere on premiere date :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: Everyone find something that make he/she happy :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: If you wait like you say people can buy on internet like amazon or local store ^^

I agree, I always buy my razer stuff at physical stores as it’s the best thing to do if you are in the EU
