I am searching for a working dockingstation for my RB. Right now I'm using the Lenovo USB-C Dock. The Problem is, if i connect everything I want to connect to it, the peripherals are just keeping turning off and on irregulary and it's driving me crazy. I read alot about this problem on other forums, but noone really seems to have a solution.

    What I want to connect:
-two Monitors connected with DP, but i dont really care how they are connected, as long as it works
    -Razer Kraken USB
    -Cherry MX Board 3.0 Keyboard
    -Razer Mamba
    -analog audio output
-sometimes a Harddrive, but that isn't important
-I don't need to charge (as far as I know this doesn't work anyways bc. TB3 supports only up to 100W)

I have looked at several manufacturers claiming that their product will work, but i wanted to hear your thoughts about this before i spent another 250$ or more.

Maybe someone out there has a working setup, willing to show it to me, because i really like the Blade and I want to keep it, but no way with this cable mess, not talking about the damage to the plugs due to continously plugging it in and out.

Just in case anyone has this Idea: I can't use a Desktop, because i am a student and i have to be able to take my pc with me.

Thanks for your help, i am looking forward to suggestions for docks

Yes i saw that issue as well and I had also similar problem with usb C dock like this that cost not as much as Lenovo dock, it was only €130. It was only with Blade 14 and 15, TB3 port, it doesn’t happen on stealth, which is now mainly using that dock since I’ve Core setting now with Blade 15.
I used it on usb A port Blade 14 and 15 with usb c to A adapter and the issue, even sometimes comes, but very rarely compared to TB3 port. I’m guessing that TB3 that run through PCH first took more wattage that made unbalanced power delivery unlike stealth with ucpu that run directly to cpu, that made its pch has more wattage to deliver. I could use the dock stable with Blade 14 and 15 if I reduce pheriperal that plugged on it, usually between my rgb mouse or keyboard, one of them should plugged directly to Blade Usb A port in order to keep connection stable.

yeah, that works for me to, but i don't like it. If it's freaking out again, i just plug the Mouse and the Keyboard directly into the Blade an boom, there we go, everything is fine now. It is just my first world problem, that i have to plug in 4 cables (power, dock, mouse, keyboard) instead of just one. I wish there'd be some way to get rid of this.

I use the lenovo Thunderbolt 3 dock and it works great. Just 1 cable and the power connector to plug in whenever I get home.

Worked well with my Blade 14 2017 and also my new Blade 15 that I just got last week. Have my 144hz monitor / mamba wireless / blackwidow / creative omni soundcard / external 2TB hdd / printer all plugged in and dont experience any drop outs / disconnections.

That sounds great i have to say. A little pricy but if it works it'll be worth it.

Yea its pretty pricy but I managed to get mine for $250 off someone who bought it for their stealth but it would not charge the stealth at the same time even though it has a power brick for the dock

which version do you use? The 135W one? And is there any difference between the campus version, bc. this one isn't as expensive.

It's just a cheaper Version for students available by some resellers. I ordered yesterday evening and chose the 199€ campus version. It is the exact same product. I will post an update wether this one works for me too or not.
