Do you feel you play to a higher standard when using chroma, maybe on a reactive mode?

    Ofc not
But what helps is to light up specific buttons, so you can find them easier

No, it definitely does not affect performance in any way - however, if I need to look down at my hands (which, is rare to be honest since I'm a touch typist) at least things are correctly illuminated so that I can find what I want quickly.

Also, it just gives a certain atmosphere to the game to have my peripherals change color or illuminate certain keys for different games. I've played a lot of Diablo 3 lately, and I really do like the red scheme, just as an example.

Haha, not at all, but it looks good, impresses the guest and yea, you can see ur keys in the dark when you game. But serious, the guest who sees it are pretty wow-ed haha

    That's definitely the truth. lol
I get a good laugh when my kids bring friends home and they see my setup and their eyes just about pop out of the heads when they realize just how many Razer items on my desk. Then they virtually choke when they realize how much gaming I do.

Mostly unrelated story, but I found it entertaining none-the-less:
I was at a tea shop with my oldest daughter (she's a couple weeks from being 25) and I was wearing my Razer "Windrunner" jacket and the guy asks me, "So, does someone in your house play games?" (with an expression and tone that insinuated that it couldn't possibly be either of us gals) and my daughter looks at him and says, "well, yeah ... she does." I swear, the guy looked like he was going to start laughing (an expression that I've seen often that usually means, "I was asking about real games, not Facebook games) and he asks "What kind of games do you play then?" I proceeded to give him a rundown of some of my favorites, which included WoW, Diablo 3, Dishonored, Watch_Dogs, Overwatch, Thief, Tomb Raider, The Division ... I always have trouble hiding my entertainment when the young guys then look so shocked. lol

Possibly on a subconscious level, like "wow, that's cool that my lights turned red when I picked this character - alright red, let's do this!"

But I doubt anybody is thinking that they perform better because their gear has awesome Chroma lighting. Heck, if you have good enough effects and you let them distract you, then you might do worse at a game . . . until you get used to it. ;)

Depends on where you are stepping up from.
If you are stepping up from using that one overclocked toaster-mouse hybrid (hellokitty) edition mouse to an chroma.

It is likely you'd experience an increase in comfortably and smoothness while feeling like a RGB jedi with those blinding lights.
Though in my humble opinion, i like my mouse only responsive and simple. Too many buttons and you'd likely feel more lost than anything.

It does. Now i can shoot with higher accuracy in FPS.

Nah, just messing with you but the Chroma is stunning.:wink_:

It helps in the way that you can arrange certain buttons to certain colours, this helps during games that require alot of thinking and colour coding your keyboard, mouse or any product; even cup-holder, could give you that edge!!!

I agree, I think the added BADASS feeling and help with finding shortcuts and certain keys quickly could give you a very easy advantage in quick paced games... particularly if you are in a dark room ; )

Ha, I wish. If only razer could work out someway to implement that into their chroma periferals! :joy::joy:

In retrospect I would not get chroma again, other than for the fun factor it doesn't add much in my opinion. Atleast for now, having lights that change with Chroma, or the Project Ariana, are game changers in terms of immersion I'd say.

Yes! Plus with the fact that alot of gamers who enjoy MMOs; not that I'd know, like to arrange their Keyboard in a custom format to help them with quickfires

Personally I use it for a recording and video editing :3

Chroma actually decrease my performance. It mesmerizes me and causes a distraction. It makes me lose focus on the screen and makes me stare down at the beautiful colors.
