One band director I've worked with is a huge fan of the Fallout series.

Also, it would be nice if you added "Some say yes, some say no" as an option for the poll.

Yeah, many asians(especially teachers and parents) still don't like games because they believe it messes up their children's studying.

Not just Asians... I can attest to many people in the United States, Asian or otherwise, disliking video games for that very reason.

Growing up I cannot recall any time where a teacher spoke poorly about video games. It would be hypocritical for any teacher these days to say "no" to video games because I guarantee they are all at least playing Candy Crush at lunch :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye_:

This question makes me laugh because I was home schooled. My mom was my teacher.
And she's been cool with video games as long as I get stuff done when it needs to be done.

My teachers never said no but they said that it should not be used constantly or to use it with moderation

There is a school in New York City that actually has Minecraft as part of its curriculum, so there is definitely teachers that don't oppose video games.

My teachers never really express a hatred for games, however whenever I mention it, they look at me with a mixture disgust and boredom.

  13. I think the poll is kinda incomplete. But when i was studying most of the teachers are against video/computer games. I don't think it's the same these times. Btw im 26 Lol

Yep! As far as I can remember almost all of my professors says no to video games for the reason that video game ruins life and I say fck em they know nothing lol. It's not about the game it's about the gamer and the kind of environment they lived in.

I had a Sociologist professor in college who was very concerned with the biological responses induced by games that cause adrenaline spikes, but without the physical activity commonly associated with those biological behaviors.

Some of my teachers look down upon games. But one of my teachers is a gamer himself and has steam on the laptop he uses during school. He plays Overwatch, Fallout, LoL and more.

Never had a teacher say no to my gaming habits. Not that I would care. I have a distinct memory of playing Halo 2 with my Music Instructor from school in fact.
