So I pre-ordered EVGA GTX 1080 FTW yesterday, and I am still waiting for the Core. However I just saw a post in the Thread Razer Core - $399 for Blade users/$499 standalone by maxinfo says that his 980 ti Kingpin doesnt fit with power cables attached.

I did some research on both that 980 ti card by EVGA and my pre-ordered GTX 1080 FTW, and figured that they have the exact same height! This result really makes me worry about the 1080 that I pre-ordered from EVGA. Does anyone know a solution of it or should I just cancel the pre-order?

    Spec for GTX 1080 FTW

    Spec for 980 ti Kingpin

The Core is capable of GPUs up to following dimensions:
    310mm x 152mm x 44mm
    Source

The 1080 from EVGA card has following dimensions:
    256.7mm x 150.88mm x Dual Slot

So I think you won't run into compatability issues.
