I run the software constantly whenever I play on my laptop. The model is Acer Aspire ES1-512-C12D, holding an 8gb ddr3 and Intel Celeron Processor N2840, with Intel HD Graphics.

It might depend on what you want to play.

Razer Cortex helps improve performance by reducing some non-essential processes going on in the windows background. So theoretically, it would help, BUT practically speaking, not a whole lot, as your Celeron laptops work with integrated graphics. Smaller games with low graphical demands... maybe? I agree with Hermanator "depends"

razer cortex just close some application, but if you don't have any application running while gaming you wouldn't notice any difference

I play Hearthstone, but it tends to crash.

Does it crash as soon as the game starts running? When does it crash and how often?

Since he/she can boot the PC, it's probably compatible.
It mentions Intel HD Graphics 1000 as a compatible GPU so I think it only requires low-end hardware.

Does Hearthstone have any 3D elements? I don't play it so I don't know.
