Anybody that plays dota 2 reborn on razer blade feel that the laptop gets a little too hot. compare to dota2 in the past. had to set my fan to be blowing directly at the laptop but even so its still a little hot.

Yep, that happened to me too. Had to set my resolution at 1280x720 so it won't get that hot.

    how about your battery life.
my could last 4-5hours if i am not playing.
whereas when playing it could only last 2 hours max.

I always have mine plugged into the charger as I don't move it around much. It's better to have it plugged into the charger when you're gaming too!

Yea, gotta get a cooling pad. My little rubber part on the bottom came off due to heat lol. The heat-sink is right on top of it so the glue heats up and releases.

i am worried that keep charging will decrease its battery life.. will it?

On mine at least when the battery is full it doesn't continue to pull a charge until it drains a bit. As long as you regularly let it discharge you should be fine.

When my battery is full, i let it drop to 99% before plugging it back to the charger which will show plugged in, not charging. So my blade would be running on AC power instead of the battery!

do u guys mean i let it charge to 100% and just leave it on with the charger plugged in? it wont be charging & thus not damaging the battery life?
i always off the charger when its 9x% and let it drop to low before turning back on and charging it back to 9x%.
am i damaging the battery life this way?

With my previous laptop, it will auto stop charging at 100% and it'll use the AC power. But for the Blade, somehow it doesn't automatically do that, so i experimented and found that the most effective way to make the Blade use AC power was to unplug the charger when it's 100%, wait for it to drop to 99% then plug it back in. Then it'll show 99% available (plugged in, not charging). That's what I do for mine! I would assume that my method won't damage the battery life since it's not using battery power :)

Huh. Does it say 100% fully charged when you unplug the charger?

it says 100% fully charged when its full.but i when i let it drop to 99% and on the charger again like u did. It shows 99% available , plugged in , charging)..

Oh man. Maybe somebody else with a Blade would like to try this method and see if it works? Or maybe you could try to contact Support on how to make the Blade use AC power instead of battery?
