Downgrade BIOS to undervolt

Hello!

Recently bought the Razer 15.6 2020 Base Model.

I'm trying to undervolt my comp/ think it'd help with heating... but with the new BIOS version I cannot change voltage. I heard from a few places that the newer razer models are already undervolted but I think that only applies to the advanced models.

I can't see the voltage on my computer on MSI Afterburner or Intel XTU (just says default voltage).

I want to undervolt to fix the heat (I know this computer gets hot... games have been running amazingly, have had no problems with this laptop otherwise). Bought a cooling pad and vent the fans regularly with compressed air).

Does this laptop just run hot and that's okay? (by hot I mean hot to the touch).

If I should undervolt how do I get around the new BIOS update that prevents changing voltage?

Any info appreciated.

Thanks!

Additional info, just recorded package temperature and it was consistently around 85C for an hour and half of AC Odyssey

Download Intel XTU or ThrottleStop app.
I did, but XTU wont let me change voltage/ same with throttlestop... I think because of the BIOS 1,3 version

85 degrees AC Oddysey over one hour is a good temperature, not something to worry about. Yes due plundervolt for the security matter most manufacturers disabling the undervolt function through their latest bios update on their 10th gen cpu. However if you want better/ cooler temperatures, you can try lower boost clock amplifier using throttlestop or even disabling the Turbo Boost if you don’t see too much performance heat. On some titles that i don’t see huge FPS difference I disable it since I prefer cooler temperature on Blade laptops.
Blade cassis act as one of cooling component, the heat dissipation, so on some areas especially above the keyboard where heat is mostly thrown out through the vent.
Is there a way to downgrade the BIOS, please i am facing the same issued.
