The long-awaited Mario Kart Tour for mobile has finally been released. Its arrival came with a big opening as well. The first day downloads for Mario Kart Tour is the biggest Nintendo has ever seen at 20 million downloads. (Source)

Many have complained about Nintendo's use of microtransactions, which is a departure from a statement they made earlier in the year where they mentioned it wasn't their business model of choice, but it seems the market dictates how they'll conduct business.

I'm under the firm belief that Nintendo's mobile games aren't so much for their main fans who already play on the main consoles, but for mobile gamers who don't normally play Nintendo games to experience Nintendo franchises, while giving fans a chance to enjoy their favorite franchises on a mobile platform should they choose.

This is going to be an unpopular opinion, but I feel that's the direction Blizzard is going as well. Diablo Immortal was thrown into the hate spiral pretty hard by fans, but the truth is, their favorite games are already on their preferred platform. Why not give others a chance, those who don't own gaming PC's to enjoy their popular franchises? Granted, I agree, the very sacred Blizzcon real estate and time slot should have been reserved for something a bit more fan friendly than a mobile game. In this case, I'll reference Nintendo's brilliant decision to announce the odd, yet surprising and intriguing Ring Fit Adventure video after their Nintendo Direct and not during. Thank you, Nintendo. You get it. You understand.

So how about adding some of the games in that chart to the Razer Cortex Paid to Play program? :wink_:

I don't have a console to play any other Mario Kart games (even though my wife sometimes says she wants to play, but when I say, "Ok, let's get a Switch", she says, "Nope!"), but I'm really enjoying this Mario Kart game on my RP1. So yeah, what you said ... about not being able to play on another platform, yadda yadda yadda.

I think I'd like it even better if I had a Razer Raiju Mobile (and if the game was compatible), but I really can't complain.

I'm also one of those guys who is really looking forward to Diablo Immortal on my phone, too, though, so take that with a grain of salt.

To be completely honest. I don't like that you hold your phone vertically for it. It just doesn't feel right. And it drains an insane amount of battery.

Insane [first week numbers]!

I gave it a go last week and wasn't really impressed in all honesty

It looks great but the controls aren't nice or intuitive for me to put time into.

Fan of Super Mario run, but not of Mario kart.
