Hey there guys, I recently tried to get back into Youtube and I am wondering how I can increase my youtube audience in efficient ways WITHOUT going onto other people's videos and advertising in the comments because I'm not that type of guy.

    these might help
using the right tags for the vid
using titles that are easy to search
of course content that is enjoyable

What do you mean by right tags? Do you mean the tags that you add through the video manager or the ones in the description?

    Thanks for replying though.

Yeah I know, I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I did that xD I'm not that desperate.

Also I will search up videos but I was hoping for more direct help like on a forum.

    1. Create the best content possible. Buy yourself a good microphone, edit your video until it's perfect, give a good title and a nice thumbnail for each one. In order for your viewers to like what you do, they need to have a good impression.

    2. Choose your icon, channel name and channel art carefully. Potential subscribers will see your channel art every time they browse your channel, and subscribers will see your icon and name every time you make a new video.

    3. Verify your account if you can. It makes your channel look more professional with the tiny ''check'' next to your channel name.

    4. Comment on other people's channel, but do not advertise. When you'll have a few hundred subscribers, comment on semi-popular videos so people will be aware of your existence, and even more if your subscribers like your comments and respond to them. You can try to indirectly talk about your channel (e.g. I wish I could be as good as he/she is, right now I'm only beginning), but don't directly advertise your channel.

    5. Collaborate with other Youtubers. If they have active viewers, it means their viewers will acknowledge you and maybe even subscribe. If you have a friend that has a decent amount of subscribers, make videos with them as much as possible.

I'm not a professional video maker or anything, but I guess that can still help you out :)

As long you are passionate about the videos you make and create good content, people will notice. Don't be fake when making videos; you'll end up hate making videos and/or your viewers will notice.

If you haven't already done so, maybe consider getting some higher quality equipment depending on what type of videos you make.

Try to distinguish yourself from other YouTubers who make the same/similar content as you. Also learn/take note of the things other YouTubers, who make the same/similar content as you, do well on.

If you haven't already, maybe make an into and/or outro. It gives a more professional feel.

Be active on the forums of the type of content you are making. People will notice that you have a YT channel about it.

I'm not a big YouTuber and have been inactive for about half a year already, so... yeah.

So what if you've been inactive, that doesnt take away from the advice!? That was amazing feedback, honestly I cant believe I forgot about the intro! Also I shall try to make myself different yet enjoyable from other youtuber's so people always come back for a unique experience (hopefully)

    Thanks for help man! :)

I just checked out your channel out and saw that you are new, unless you have other YouTube channels where you are really big... I thought you were big and was just asking how to increase audience if maybe your audience has plateaued. lol

Yeah lmao I am pretty new but I wanted to get the advice before I put 100% effort in, instead of me making loads of videos and not getting enough views and all that effort goes to waste. Just being resourceful lol.

Word of mouth. if your video is good, sites like 9gag will pick it up and your views will sky rocket from there :)

If you make youtube video content based around a video game, you could stream on a website like twitch to gain a following. Alternatively you could try and promote your videos on Reddit through the relevant subreddit

  18. Just be yourself, nothings worse than trying to be somebody your not to gain popularity. It'll take a long time to get to where you want to be, set goals and make schedules. Collaborate with other smaller youtubers and you might just grow together.

You can use http://www.growviews.com. Is a new totally free platform and it's really cool, you can choose the minimum seconds for your views and is too easy get points to exchange, just a button and an automatic player is launched.
