To be fair, Razer's CEO did say that the "paid to play program" was to "reward gamers who couldn't afford any of our gear but who are still hardcore gamers".

Those guys are turning FREE (Not really free, they played video games to earn it! Well, they were playing until they were AFK from the game to eat dinner or watch TV) Razer products into $500.00 cold hard cash. So in a sense he's right because they can definitely afford some razer gear now.

What does that say about the power of the Razer Brand?

What an awful change. Limiting the games each month limits your audience, Razer. Why not keep adding to the list, so you can tout the large list of games you have that earn players credit?

This change earned an uninstall of Cortex by me.

    I'm disappointed.

They had to change, the abusers of the system were eating razer out of house and home with their greed.

    Blame them.

This new system really is irritating me! I don't want to only get a few select games that are PTP, its hard enough to get zSilver accumulated with the 900 cap. Thanks razer for ruining another good thing you had going!!!

what abuse is this you speak of? there is a cap to the amount earned each day that they came up with, so its not like you could get that much more on a daily basis anyways.

people like this sicken me, these are the reason why we get what we get!

    Hey Insiders,

Since the release of Razer Cortex Paid to Play, you’ve clocked countless hours playing your favorite games and scored an incredible amount of zSilver to unlock the rewards you want. Thanks to your feedback, we’re bringing in new features, games and events this month:

Five games every month — vote for the titles you want to see. As we introduced more games to Paid to Play, we realized that only a very small group of popular games strived. That’s why starting now, Paid to Play will focus on a maximum of 5 games per month:

    - You’ll vote on Razer Insider to select 2 games you want to see compatible. The games which get the most votes will be featured the following month.
    - We’ll select the 3 remaining games based on their hype on Razer Cortex.

You can already start voting for the September Paid to Play games at the top of this thread. The poll will close on August 31st and we’ll announce the winners in our next monthly update.

Winner Winner Chicken Dinner — earning zSilver feels even better. In August, we’ve already selected 5 compatible games for you:

    - Playerunknown’s Battleground (by plebiscite :))
    - DOTA 2
    - Starcraft 2
    - Grand Theft Auto V
    - Tekken 7

Whether you’re battling to the death in Pochinki or heisting in Los Santos, you’ll be rewarded with zSilver getting you closer to the Razer Lancehead TE, the Razer Ornata Chroma and more.

Double zSilver weekends are coming — starting with DOTA 2. Cancel your plans and stock up on snacks cause we’re introducing double zSilver weekends. Starting Friday, August 4th 12:01AM PST, we’re doubling your zSilver earning rate (6 zSilver per minute) when you play DOTA 2. Make sure to seize this opportunity while you can, because the earning rate will be back to normal on Monday, 7th 12:01AM PST.

August’s Paid to Play update introduces major changes to improve your experience. By focusing on 5 games per month and letting you vote for the titles you want to see featured, we’re able to let you customize your own exciting gaming journey while you score zSilver. Of course, we’re planning to bring you more features and events as we continue to improve Paid to Play – all thanks to your feedback. If you have any questions regarding this month’s update and the new voting system, feel free to ask me.

Not sure why there was a decision to completely ruin the idea of earning zSilver. Firstly, there's too few games on the available list. Yes, it may change every month, but that's now a whole month of being unable to earn 900 zSilver a day. I don't own 4 of the games, and I'm sure as hell not sinking hours into DOTA 2. 27000 zSilver unavailable, thanks to this ridiculous change.

Secondly, who's bloody stupid idea was it that this rotation was a sensible decision? Suspend them without pay for a month, and only let them come back every other month; see how they like being unable to earn anything whilst the rotation is forced upon them. (Yes, I realise that it's drastic and dramatic, but the point still stands; I cannot earn anything on this rotation, and probably many more into the future). This change was not for the community or users of Razer Cortex.

Revert back to not having such tight restrictions, or even have a vote of who wants this system, or the old system. Dreadful decision :mad_:

I so wish they would have a few more than five games a month on that list. There will be so many months when not a single game one is playing is actually represented. And that takes away from the awesome idea of paid to play, imho. And... there will always be those who are stuck loving an mmo or something and can't live without the community and everything on there, who will not ever be favored by this system with so few games on there, as only very popular top of the list games or sponsored free to play games will ever have a true chance to be remembered, I guess. Because that's how we function as people. And people still run the selection process. I'd love to see at least 10 games, and more player choices among them. Just my personal thoughts though.

How? It's still the same number of zSilver per day, at the same rate.

Razer i know that u can´t give too much free points but i think that there are some games that should be ever in promotion as CS:GO, League of Legends or Overwatch because they are so important in the competitive scenaries and that makes them the most followed.

Abusers of the system were jacking razer left and right and you know it. I've only had paid to play for a month and I already figured it out.

Abusers of the system would leave the computer on all day on the game that they played while they went to work or school, that's got to be at least 5-8 hours. Boom, that's the 900 cap right there. Anything after that was gravy.

I don't think razer intended for people to be AFKing to get zsilver.

People are just sour that the party is over.

In case you didn't know, you're not the only person in the world, there are many unscrupulous people around who don't have your high moral standards to play games for 5 hours everyday and who would abuse an exploit in the system for their own selfish gains.

OH NO! Don't add me to the ignore list! I don't think I could take it, But if you really must, I understand...

    I'll get by, somehow....

Ya, to you because you're not getting your way. And you're just afraid that if I keep talking, Razer won't reverse the policy because you know they bend over backwards for their fans.

I'm just doing it because my game is finally on the list, and I have to say I'm loving it. So, I'm going to go play my game now and earn some zsilver.

How do you like them apples?

I am glad, as Neverwinter is one of the games I play the most. Was there any notification of the change? I had to Google search to find out this happened. Could you please make the list easier to find? Maybe in the P2P reward Dashboard? I just found I was getting nothing for several days.

hmmm... got to say, not impressedLimited what games will earn rewards. So either, play you have to buy it if you don't own it (if it isn't free of course) or play something you may not like in order to earn. IMHO would have been better to add more games to the earning list instead of removing ALL of them and only going with a popularity vote on a limited list.
In reading a number of posts, seems allot of ppl prefer the old system over the new and would rather have additions to it instead of subtractions... doubt I'll be using this much anymore...and I've got a feeling I won't be the only one!

I really dont like this system one bit... What about your loyal users who played Counter Strike Global Offensive and earned? CSGO is the only game i like or have that you guys support, and now its not even on the voting list? Disappointing:frown_:
