External Monitor Resolution Issues

I recently purchased a 2021 Razor Blade 15 Base with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. There are resolution issues with one of the two monitors used in my Dual External Monitor Setup.

When laptop is NOT connected to CalDigit TS3 Plus docking station, the NVIDIA Control Panel only shows 3D Settings. When laptop is connected to docking station, the NVIDIA Control Panel shows settings for 3D Settings, Display, and Video. When I select "Set up multiple displays", there are two external monitors listed, but one is labeled as "NVIDIA Digital Display". This is the monitor that has low resolution. When I select "Change Resolution", the connector shows as HDMI - HDTV, and Resolution window/Refresh Rate selection is empty.

In Windows Advanced Display Settings, my Display 1 (Internal Display) shows it is connected to Intel(R) UHD Graphics @ 1920x1080. Display 2 (good monitor) shows it is connected to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU @ 1920x1080. Display 3 (bad monitor) is listed as "Wired Display" connected to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU @ 640x480.

I tried uninstalling the NVIDIA drivers & software, and re-installing using driver [27.21.14.6172] from NVIDIA website. I also tried disabling the Intel UHD Graphics drivers. Unfortunately, neither change helped.

I use Thunderbolt to connect the laptop to the Caldigit TS3 Plus. The TS3 Plus is connected to (good) monitor via DisplayPort. The TS3 Plus is connected to (bad) monitor via HDMI (using Thunderbolt to HDMI adapter). Please keep in mind this same setup works perfect with my Macbook Pro (macOS) and HP ZBook (Windows).

Please let me know if you have any recommendations or troubleshooting tips that I can try.

Have you tried reinstalling the TB4 drivers? There have been some cases where the driver incorrectly reports the port as TB3 introducing some odd bandwidth issues. I highly recommend clean installing that using Intel's DSA, and feel free to PM me if the problem persists.
