Extra Storage Space

Hi Everyone, new to gaming and just ordered a Razer Blade 15" adv model. It comes w/ 512gb. Question though, it seems like many of these new games are 100+ gb. Which doesn't leave much room for multiple games.

What are folks using for extra storage space?

Currently I am on the stock 512gb drive and have 22gb left. :eek_: I'm saving for a 1 - 2 tb nvme right now for my blade. Once I do that, i'll probably use the 512 in an nvme enclosure and use it for backups or less-frequently played games.

Tbh, life would be so much simpler if gaming computers came with large storage spaces from the get go. I'm currently researching to get a 1TB EVO to replace my storage as well.

Totally agree with you there! The 2020 models come with 1TB drives. I sure wish the 2019 (what I have) advanced model came with 1TB. It sure would have been a perfect size to start off with. Since games are so large these days, it stinks when they take up 2-300 GB each! 500gb drives are not big enough haha.

My laptop is 5 years old, a 128GB SSD (which had half the space already taken), and a 1TB HDD. I was too scared to upgraded it the whole time. But I just put an order through for a 1TB SSD. The days of fear are behind me 😛
