Feature Request for 2018 RB 15: Silent mode

Hello,
I really love my two Razer Blades. The 2019 Stealth has in the Synapse Software within the Power options also a "reduced" mode where I can adjust the fans even down to zero ... I would really love a possibility to have a silent mode also on my RB 15 with 1070 ... it would be really nice to have a mode (with lower TPD / power) where I could set the fans at 2.000 rpm or 2.500 rpm.

Any chance for an update?

Regards,
Sascha

Tdp on balanced mode is already lower, on mine is 25 watt, plus undervolting you’ll get silent machine on idle. Note if you’re using external monitor through DP or HDMI, those are connected to nvidia gpu the Fans may a bit active, due no optimus work.
Undervolting is the way to go. There is a lot of margin on these. I have left out a throughout review of my model with my undervolting and I have been very satisfied and it runs a lot of time with 0 fan RPM.

If you use it for gaming such as The Division 2, the case will get warm and it will take some time for your Blade to cool of as the case as heat exchange take longer. So you might hear the fans spin for a while longer.
Thank you both for your answers. I use Throttlestop and it works fine. Internet, light Office runs without fans most of the time.

Nevertheless it would be great to have the chance to adjust the fans not only between 4.000 and 5.000 rpm ... it would be great to have a mode where I can set them to 2.100 rpm (like at the Stealth 2019).

Sometimes I would set them at this level even if they would stand still on automatic. It has to do with some kind of work where it is not very fine if they spin up by themself ... also in a "Silent mode" they could start to spin up (automatic) later ... perhaps at 60 degree, not at 50 degree like now.

Of course, such a silent mode (where I would only use the Intel graphic adapter) is not for gaming. But in some situations it would be great to have better ways to control the fans.
If I was Razer I wouldn't change how it is. The Blade is a performance device and needs to be protected. If you want silent you need to buy a much larger device which takes much longer to heat up.
I understand you are way more advanced user than most but there are too many people out there who would tick the silent box and cause issues.
I have the 2018 model which is more sensitive and never find the fans that annoying.
Only time I get annoyed is the up and down when it throttles but with tweaking and understanding anyone should be able to get a constant fan speed.
