Fireflx V2 not detected by Synapse

I've been using a Cynosa V2 for a while now, it is working perfectly fine with Synapse 3.0,
but the Firefly V2 I just bought is not showing up in Synapse.

I've tried a different usb port; restarting my pc (many times); repairing, updating and reinstalling Synapse; using the troubleshoot tool; checking in device manager where it shows up normally just like my Cynosa.

Also it's not recognized by Synapse 2.0 (not supported) or Firefly firmware updater (only for V1 I guess).

So I have no idea what could be the problem, the rgb lights are running their default cycle and windows recognizes the device but Synapse doesn't.
(EDIT: sorry for messing up the thread title)

I'm having the same issue with the one I bought today. Basilisk v3 and Huntsman Elite work fine. I plug the firefly v2 in and it lights up but doesn't show up in Synaspse. Device manager shows its name and all in the list of HI Devices, so windows 10 clearly recognizes it. I've tried every usb port on my motherboard as well as my case's front IO panel, and 3 different computers (2 laptops 1 pc) and still can't get it to show up in synapse 3.
same as me but for me I already use it for 1 years and it work fines but after I update my Synapse 3 to the last version It not detects my FireFly v2 anymore

If you're having issues with Synapse not detecting peripherals please try changing USB port (preferred USB 3.0 and above, do not plug your peripherals into USB HUB).
If this not help, please try this steps:

  • Uninstall Synapse from system
  • Unplug your peripheral(s) if possible
  • Download and run this tool: https://rzr.to/Tf53xj
  • Restart PC
  • After restart install Synapse as administrator (right click on installer -> run as administrator).
  • After Synapse installation, plug peripherals back to your PC.
The same thing happens to me, with the latest update of Synapse 3 the mouse pad is not detected, but Windows and Device Manager do...
I have had the FireFly V2 for 2 years and this is the first time this has happened to me. Windows recognizes it perfectly and I have tried everything that Razer says but seeing that the same thing happens to you too, it must be a problem with the latest update

Hey guys! You can try to repair the Synapse application by following the steps here. If that didn't work, proceed by performing a clean reinstallation and follow these steps. If those didn't help, let me know by sending me a PM so I can forward your case to our Software Team. I will lock this thread now to curb our conversation privately.
The Synapse 3 update that came out Thursday 5/12/2022 worked for me, hopefully it works for everyone else!
