Side power button. It's dual purpose. Also, long press for power off options.
I need this on my desk badly
Would look nice next to my mamba charging dock, and base station chroma headset stand
(wish I had a razer mug to round out my collection of cool square shaped chroma thinges)
The only thing I don like about the Razer Phone2 is Android 8.1 Where is Android 9?
This is neat as damn xD
Tho I'm good with my current one, the first version, and it's running like butter for me
Amazing specs for that price
I see a lot of Razer employees here
Still I was here only for project Linda so if there is no Lapdock coming with Razer Phone 2 I will stay with my current phone and buy some tablet with keyboard dock.
Not the thing I wanted but still better than nothing.
I wish you big sales.... kappa
Personnaly, i expect quite a bit of time before they release project Linda, because it will take quite a bit of time to gather enough money ti buy them both.
But did you hear a thing about it? Did they say that it will be released later? It was a fake from the beginning or rather a concept which they did not eant to put in life. It was supposed to bait more people.
As MKBHD said a chance that it will be released this or next year is 3/10
I just give up on this and spent money on something else.
RGB is all I wanted for a razer phone, that was the purpose when I purchased for the razer phone 1, unfortunately, its not the one. And now, everything is on the razer phone 2. I really crave it, I wish that razer will open up an opportunity, agree to take back razer phone 1 and allow the user to offset a corresponding amount of money to own razer phone 2 . Because I really want to buy the razer phone 2, but I just have the razer phone 1 few months ago, and I dont know what to do with it if I have 2 razer phone.
I'm so glad someone else has brought this point up and I feel the same way
Can't wait it looks epic with the ability to have the chroma back
I wish it were delayed by a couple months and came with SD 855 (or 8150 or whatever it'll be called) instead. Right now it'll get out-dated too soon. I don't know why Razer decided to time their launches like this.
It's not so late or early since ROG phones have just released, Razer probably just wants to compete ROG phone as soon as possible. But I agree with you since the 1st Razer phone was released with the news of SD 845, and the 2nd Razer phone was published at the same situation.
Speaking of the ROG phone. Some expansion of the Razer phone ecosystem would be nice. The Raiju mobile for example being a controller dock, or a partnership with Gamevice. A "ProDock" for being able to stream and output to HDMI and utilize Ethernet etc would be very exciting.
I'll be getting the phone once it hits Microsoft stores so I can give it a trial run and report any software bugs again.
I'm considering the Pixel or the ROG phone but the 4GB of RAM hasn't served me well on my Pixel 2 XL.
It would be nice to see Razer offer a trade in for the Razer phone 1! Or at least someone offer a good buyback or trade in for the first model.
Any news on software updates for both devices?
The thing I'm most excited about is the Camera, both the rear and the front.
I was already pleased with everything else about the Razer Phone (1st edition), the camera is the main thing that bothered me. But seeing they now have to flagship Sony sensors, OIS, 4K 60fps on the rear, and have rebuilt the camera app UI, and the HDR algortithm excites me.
I had a choice between this and the ROG Phone, and it was hard. The deciding factors were price, $100 cheaper than the base ROG phone (128GB version), the front facing camera 60fps (never saw that before in a phone), microSD card slot, and my love for the Razer mobile division.
I'm happy they added ip67 water resistance, I loved that on my HTC U11, though I rarely used it, but it helps. It does tend to rain enough where I stay. the screen brightness did annoy me too, so I'm glad they really improved that. Vibration was a struggle, so I'm happy they fixed that. I think the RGB Chromo lighting logo is dope. Happy they kept the dual front-facing speakers despite adding water resistance, always loved that in an smartphone and Razer's were definitely the best, even with my experience with HTC and their BoomSound speakers. It's stated that the Razer Phone too has a 103db vs the 1st generation Razer Phone, which had 98db. Hopefully with the water proofing that means some coating that stops all sorts of debris from falling into the speaker grills, that was really annoying on the 1st version.
I wanted to wait on the Satin lined version, but I need a new phone now. I heard there was going to be a 128GB version, but it's not consistent confirmation.
Rgb logo si awesome, really love it!
uhh, i thought every razer product has 2 year warranty now, but the razer phone 2 still says 1 year on razerzone
