For the love of god Razer, make this software work offline!

When I currently look down on my keyboard, I see it stuck beween gaming-mode lights and standard. When I look to my mouse, it's stuck in game mode. This is because Synapse tends to "forget" the profiles, especially when you quickly quit and restart a game or Alt+Tab out of it and back in.

It then needs to sync these profiles again which takes a minute or so. And again. And again. This alway-online-functionality is the cancer that makes your software a royal pain in the ass, I can tell you.

I've almost had it with it. Where it not for my 179€ Razer keyboard and my 59€ mouse I would've long thrown it off my system...

Fix your damn software! Please excuse me now, I need to crawl under the table to unplug the keyboard and plug it in again because of the stuck chroma effect...

PS: Had to crawl under the table a second time. Seems today is a new low. Oh and while I'm writing this "PS" the keyboard, while having recognized I'm out of the game ("G" Led is off), still shows me the gaming LEDs. The mouse on the other hand is back to default. Wow. :eek_::rolleyes:o_O

Please reach out to customer support, so that they can try to reproduce the issue with the same set of devices, OS, games etc.

As for the software functionality itself, I can clarify that profile switching does not involve the internet at all. All the software functionality is executed locally and internet is only used to backup and sync the profiles you create.
Thanks for the clarification. It always seemed to me as if, when profiles "vanish" or Synapse temporarily forgets the games I set up within the profiles, it re-syncs with the cloud to get them back, thus I thought the cloud would be the issue here.

Well, there's been an update today, I will see if this behavior persists. I guess the "beta feedback" functionality within the Synapse software also reaches out to customer support, or do I have to start a ticket on your website?
OK, OP, First of all it's God not god. Second, God has nothing to to with your post.
Thank you for your input.

Why, is every Razer user Christian? No other religions allowed? Or any form of expression mentioning any religious deity at all? What if he said for the love of trees, mother nature, buddha (uncapitalized)?
just sayin... I understand 'zilla's frustration, and i don't care how the fkuc god is spelled
Please just stop. On the one hand this thread was meant to talk about the software, not about religion. On the other hand I haven't had an issue since the last update, so this might be resolved (and could be closed to stop this pointless diuscussion *hint hint*).
@Steph6n It has nothing to do with being Christian. Why does mentioning God mean I am Christian? You need to bone up on theology.
And I agree religion shouldn't be a part of these forums. I didn't start it.

I didn't start it either. I used a common expression in the daily communication using verbal speech between human beings. Get over it or I'll report you for deliberately derailing this thread.

The syncing is whats causing the problem. It needs to sync every time you boot up your PC, which takes an internet connection, which pretty much means your mouse needs an internet connection to work. I don't see why you guys dont just change this, it would make everybody more happy.

That's an incorrect assumption. It doesn't need to sync at every boot. It always starts up with the local copy of your profiles (regardless of internet being available or not).

It tries to sync a few minutes after you make any changes to your profiles/settings (because that's the whole point of having cloud sync), but even that's not required. If there's no internet (and cloud syncing isn't possible), the profiles still remain saved on the local machine.
