  1. Either strictly for gaming or one that has a Tegra K1 not X1 because that's overkill and streaming like Sony's Xperia has PS4 streaming.

  2. If they do end up making one they shouldn't have just the android set up then should take it then modify it so its not the android things that Iphone users hate it more a cross between Apple and android or a completely new os

I agree, they definitely shouldn't overkill

  4. Maybe they could take a Blackberry approach where you can download any Android app, Kindle app, or Blackberry app. We all know that apple wont let that happen but any Kindle or Android app would be really cool to have.

So long as Razer doesn't go the playstation phone route and have the actual bulky controls as a slide out option, I'd be interested. I just can't see myself carrying one with physical controls. (Though if it were an accessory I'd buy it).

  6. Exactly. And they could just use the Junglecat design to make that accessory.

If they decide to make a Razer Android phone, it would be the one to make me switch back from Windows Phone to Android.

I would more likely be interested by a tablet made by razer than just a phone with their branding. With an epic screen. I'm sure they could come up with some amazing designs!

  9. IOS, Android, Windows too boring for you?
No worries, we announce ROS(Razer OS), RAOS, RZOS or whatever.. LOL

  10. I just want a phone from a country that I trust and a company with actual support and RMA. Apple charges you a ton, even with their most expensive warranty and most other companies just have a mediocre manufacturer warranty. No Razer product has ever failed on me and plus - the thing would just look amazing!

  11. Your ram and CPU are bottleknecking your Titans... just pointing that out. Build is still better than mine lol.

Apple users hate Android because it's not Apple. But what you're talking about is what 99% of companies do, they put their own os on top of stock Android. Like HTC Sense, and basically every company has their own version of Android.
I'd rather see a Razer made os, more of a combination of Android and a mobile version of Steam OS. So we have our mobile stuff, then we have our gaming stuff. Though, this would be better for a tablet. Indie games would probably be one of the greatest things for phones, though battery life might go to shit.

  13. Very true. They should do something like Blackberry does where you can download Kindle, Android and Blackberry apps on their device.

But doesn't Android have the same support of third party app stores? I thought they did, but I could be wrong. Forge phone/tab would probably have a good release time when Samsung ditches Android and releases Tizen OS.

  15. I don't know about Android but you are right about Tizen. If Samsung can do it, then Razer can!

Newer Android OSs might have dropped third party support, but I know on one of my older phones they had third party app stores. But you can download apps from Chrome still, so there might be a chance.
The only thing I worry about with this idea, is how buggy the system will be when it first comes out. Maybe do an open source os?

  17. OSOS confirmed. But if they are making a new OS, why use Android on the Forge?

Could always have two versions, the Android OS and their own os.
One app it could come stock with is the toast making app.

Where did you ever see a 3930K bottlenecking Titans? Though I bought my 3930K before I bought my Titans. I had two GTX680 at that time when I bought my CPU.
I changed my ram though for this one:

    G.SKILL Ripjaws Z Series 64GB (8 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2400 (PC3 19200) Desktop Memory Model F3-19200CL10Q2-64GBZHD

So it won't be bottlenecking it really.

  20. Oh it said 8GB of ram and It's just that I also have a 3rd gen i7 that doesn't hold up too well over time. May just be me.
