Does anyone have a Razer Phone incapable of wifi calling on Shaw's Freedom Mobile network??

I'm trying to get this to work but to no avail.

Freedom. Mobiles WiFi calling only works on supported phone (ie their phones) freedom is horrible like that.. Lots of features onky work on phones you bought from them. I'm still waiting for RCS on the rp1

Interesting, I've had RCS with Freedom on my RP1 since summer 2018. They were one of the companies to roll it out last year.

Thats odd.. I keep refreshing my SIM and get nothing different after my reboot.. My wife has an S9+ and neither of us see any difference or the new features when we message each other. Still says SMS. Ive tried just sending messages to myself, and still dont get any of the features and still says SMS

You have to have messages updated to the latest.
I'd recommend unlocking developer mode in your settings, in case you hadn't not sure if that matters or not.
Check the messages menu settings and see if chat features is under advanced features to turn on.
Type in your phone number into the settings menu in advanced features as well?
Worst case scenario just wipe your phone and start fresh, don't restore.

I had to switch phones under a warranty case, and funny enough I lost RCS for about a month after the transfer before it came back. So I thought it was a google thing. Apparently only one phone can be associated with your google account for RCS. So if your gmail is on your wifes phone as a primary account holder than chances are your RCS won't work anyways.
(She also needs to have latest updates and Android Messages)
We have different primary emails, both have RCS features turned on in messages (and developer options enabled in Android) and phone number entered in advanced. i heard they paused RCS rolling out due to issues with some phones and hoping it just hasn't gotten to me yet
