i recently bought a G-Pro for $90 and have been loving it, although I do wish that it was Chroma compatible. And wouldn't you know it, I found a $100 Blackwidow Chroma TE (not V2) on Amazon from a third party vendor? I currently have all Razer peripherals other than my keyboard, so should I get it?

if u come across green switch i suggest u to try it first, when typing or gaming it tends to get loud (CLICKY) even on headset
    I LOVE ORANGE SWITCH plus
Razer Mechanical Keyboard Enhancement Kit that completed my life better then porn!

I have used both Logitech and Razer switches on mechanical keyboards before although I do not own one (I have an Ornata), I liked the Razer switches much more. If you can get a good deal on one and can return or sell your old one I would say go for it. Make sure the third party vendor has a good name and it is not some kind of bad company.

I'd definitely trade in if I was you and maybe look around for the V2 on offer somewhere. In the UK the V2 was full price everywhere except for the version with the Yellow Switches which was reduced down to around £100 so I bit the bullet. Yellow switches take some getting used to but now I love them.

Since we are in the Razer-Insider forum, I guess most of the people will suggest you to trade in. I am using the BlackWidow Chroma V2 with green Switches and I am totally happy with them (although i have some Synapse issues, but nothing bout to compare about the switches).
But since everyone has kind of different preferences, I would suggest you to just go to your next local store and try the Keyboard/switches first. And of course it is nice, if all of your peropherals are Chroma synced, but if you dont have the feeling on the switches, it is bullshit to invest 100$ more.

PS: If you go for the TE-Edition, keep in mind you don't have the num-pad, wich i don't wanna miss, cause I dont only use the keyboard on gaming.
