Gamecaster NO SOUND! BUT MIC.

    Hi,

    Brought the 'PRO' version for months to 'give it ago' however. To my disappointment I am unable to hear ingame sound on the stream only my voice.

    I run all my games/stream through my Kraken 7.1 Chroma razer headphones yet I have this problem of what I hear, is not whats on stream. Why is this?

    I would love to get this fixed ASAP as very disappointed for buying a streaming software that cant even use sound.

    Hi @Harleyswann, thanks for posting and for purchasing the pro version of Razer Cortex: Gamecaster!

    We're sorry to hear that you're having issues while streaming.

    Can you please run a check for me?
    1. In the Cortex client, go to the Gamecaster tab and into the Devices settings (click on the "..." next to DEVICES).
    2. Check what audio device is selected.
    3. Right click on the volume control icon in your system tray (Speaker icon in the windows start bar)
    4. Select Playback Devices
    5. Check which device is selected as the default device (there should be a green check mark next to the icon)
    6. Make sure that the selected Audio device in the Cortex client matches the default device selected in your playback device list.

    Thanks for the reply... However this did not work sadly.

    The only device I have installed is a Razer Kraken Headset USB Chroma... All the devices are set to this headset including the device manager! I have no clue why this wont work for me.. Any other ideas?

    Do razer offer a 'Live chat' function? as I have brought a product and unable to use it... would hate to have to ask for a refund, any ideas please let me know :)
