Hey all, Just wondering, anybody have recommendations for games to play on an airplane? Preferably less resource-intensive games to conserve battery, and nothing that requires the entire keyboard. I most likely won't have any space to use the entire keyboard or the such. I'd rather not have anything so bloody that it makes people around me raise eyebrows.
Check out the Shadowhunter series on Steam. They aren't heavy on graphics and they are loads of fun if you're into cyberpunk type games. I love them.
I fly all the time but have yet to take my blade up there with me. I would probably opt for an old JRPG like FFVII, or if it was a short flight maybe some Civilization. Also flight simulator for the lols.
RONIN and 8-bit armies are the only games I can really speak for on pc that don't require keyboard. They require nothing but a mouse and are simple yet addictive to play. Downwell, I've mentioned once before on insider, requires 4 buttons. All of these games, I would say are fairly cheap yet in my opinion, may be worth it dependent on your play style. I recommend them.
Everytime I travel on air I always play Minecraft or any RTS game it will surely keep you companied during the flight.
I usually play some Civ V or Starcraft II against bots on a plane. If I'm not doing that, it's usually some Diablo III theorycrafting or just watching the movies. I also played Minecraft a few times a few years ago, but it wasn't all that compatible with touchpads.
Get a Gameboy Emulator and play Pokemon, many hours of fun to be had, plus you can remember the good old days Zelda is also an option if Pokemon wasn't your thing.
Not CS:GO haha. Anyways, I would recommend any type of RTS game. Something like CIV or Stellaris would be perfect. You lose track of time pretty easily.
9/11 simulator don't kill me please... For real, you should maybe play something RTS, like the new Istrolid. Oh, and do not thing of CS:GO, imagine people hearing ''The bomb has been planted.''
I'd say a story telling game like life is strange , game of thrones, walking dead or borderlands would be a good idea as it doesn't require much finger movement of the keyboard and mouse
Also, never play CS:GO on a train, because then you might hear someone say, "the bomb is planted under the train." Most of the time when I travel, I played games on my iPad, since I didn't have a laptop (I still don't have one). Most of the time I actually slept or watched movies. International flights will have moies, domestic (in the USA, typically) ones will not have them. I digress. Games to play: Assasin's Creed series?
