This is something which the Gamma official might know better~~~
Gamma is a contractor working with RAZER to provide zsilver mining/gathering capability.
RAZER officials might not have answer to how the Gamma app works, the specific details of Gamma functionality needs to go to Gamma official

dont get me wrong,i like the idea of gamma to mine silver just idle ur pc to earn more silver its briliant. im here not trying to have beef with gamma is just love to see explenation if someone know,i just dont like being exploit without any notice from the begining. If gamma given free software to mine silver for user in order to maintaining the service of gamma software we have to mine etherium for them and there is agrement from the begining said about it, i think that would more relief for some user so they know what we are using

3 years ago, someone made a youtube video (RAZER Softminer days) that Insiders GPU were secretly doing the work of cryptocurrency mining for another host, while Insiders were being awarded with zsilvers.

But that video was released back in 2018; I don't know how much of it is true. But would be good to know if Gamma have some hidden cryptocurrency mining that Insiders are not aware of.

that is exactly what i thought, i mean think of this way if i can mine etherium for my own why would i hosted for someone else right? normally i run 1 mining software at the time but this is something that im curios about why they secretly run in background without any notice for it user.

this is the interesting part, the etherminer.exe is not running if you just started the app. it runs automaticly after a while. if you see my first post i just updated the picture. it showed etherminer.exe running in taskbar and my eGPU

This is just my personal opinion.
From my understanding you helped mined certain stuff for Gamma, for which they paid you compensation in form of Gamma Points which currently you're earning Razer Silver with it.
However, you can make your own decision regarding this matters either mine certain stuff on your own and make sure to drop by Official RazerStore to purchase!:wink_:

In my eyes, cryptocurrency is meaningless and the country that I live in, the government sees it as a very illegitimate thing. Even current miners are selling their mining rigs and gpus; I think its because we don't see the value of its use and its monumental value~

seems like gamma is silence about it. i tried to talk to them on discord but no respon and find more interesting issue here that ethmining is running automaticly even tho gamma app is not start and make me just wanted to get rid of it and i did it
Its fair.. u get paid zsilver and they get the money... the zsilver u can redeem Razer items. I dont see a problem...

think this way, if you can run mining etherium for your own, and exchange with $$$ what would you do with the money ?
as it for this moment 1 ETH to USD = $2,227 imagine you can spend all goods with that. if you are in US. if you are not in US there is a lot of cyrto exchanger online that safe for you to make transaction

I got my Razer Huntsman ELITE less than 2 months by using gamma..
and lots of razer products i redeemed are by using Gamma..
