Going full Razer - to Chroma or not to Chroma?

So I have an Alienware Area 51 R2, which I can set to pretty much any color but white. For peripherals I currently have a Razer Orbweaver, Logitech G600, a Corsair RGB K70, Astro A40's, a Blue Nessie mic, and a pair of mAudio studio monitors.

I could use advice - I prefer mechanical input, play MMO's, and *LOVE* my Orbweaver (except the crappy adhesive used on the palm and wrist rests).

Should I go all Razer? If I get the Seiren and the Leviathan, is it worth getting Chroma on the rest of the peripherals if those two are limited to green??

What would you folks recommend for headphones to match/beat the A40's?
Which keyboard to beat the K70?
    Naga - wired, non-wired?

Thanks for the help.. If I'm gonna drop $1200 or more on new peripherals, I want to know I'm getting the best bang for the buck :)

Wow thats alot to spend on peripherals, but hey wad the heck.
Ok for seiren and leviathan leds not so obvious so its fine with chroma peripherals.
A40s are pretty good sets, for me im using kraken 7.1 and is pretty awesome. Might i suggest a wireless headset maybe, you can use with your mic and also when not on the computer you can bring it along with ya.
Of course the top end razer kb is the blackwidow. If you don't need the numpad you could go tourney edition so you have more space on your table for the orbweaver. But depends on your desk setup if you can shift the peripherals around or only have space to place it all side by side.
I'd say go wireless to reduce the wires all over the desk.

Well do share some nice shots of the setup once done too.

The fun is in getting to have my peripherals and NOT have my wife want to strangle me :)

  9. If you've seen full chroma setups, you'd definately want to go full chroma everything. Syncing everything up in a setup looks amazing and you can change it to any color anytime you want. I personally use a bw chroma with a purple blue setup and my deathadder with purple blue, and my desktop background is a purplefied Protoss from sc2. Looks amazing!

Yeah, I'm fairly convinced now.. the worst part is having to wait for delivery :) I should be ordering the first half of the peripherals tomorrow :)

Full chroma is definitely worth the extra money because you will never be satisfied with just one color. Once you go chroma, you can't go back!

So true!! And if, for whatever reason, you have an item where the lighting bothers you, you can always just got with something really basic or turn it off entirely. At least with Chroma you get all the options.

GO CHROMA. Color it up! Taste the rainbow!

However, I'd personally opt for something else other than the Naga Epic Chroma. The numpad on the side doesn't have individually lit buttons, so the entire pad can only be a single color. Not sure if you care about that or not though.

There is always love for CHROMA... Btw those are a lots of money to spend, probably a month salary for an average person...

  17. To be honest, the Razer aesthetic has always looked best Black/Green. To change the colour is to change the aesthetic.

I am slowly in the process of switching over... See, I started out with the anasi, the naga molten, the classic gamepad, and the megaladon. Over time (as they either brake or get outdated) switch over. Now, I have the Death Stalker Ultimate, the kraken pro 7.1 chroma, the tatarus, and the oroborus. If I were to go to chroma, I would like to just slowly switch everything out a they get outdated so the fire in your wallet slowly burns xD
