Why doesn't the Razer Goliathus not have a wave setting like everything else? It sure would be nice to have all 3 devices synced to the same setting.

Because it has too few LEDs to do such effect.
It's 3 foot long by 12 inches wide....it's full of led's. So how can this be?

I didn't disassembled it, but it has max 2 LEDs, connected to "tube" (on both sides) which "transfers" the light. It doesn't matter if the pad is small or large.

Firefly has many LEDs installed (at the bottom of the pad) so it's able to do Wave effect.

That would explain it.
Where did you get the info on "Max 2 LEDs" from?

Only my guess. Never disassembled it.

Hi bassfisher6522,
The mat is lit by an optical fiber cable that goes around the mat. The 2 ends of the cable terminate at the connector (where the USB cord starts) where the LEDs are that shines light through the tube.

I think it's hard to replicate the wave effects like those other devices that have multiple LEDs in those devices for the effects.

A more definitive answer I can get onboard with. Thanks.
