Good grief - is it time for me to stop using razer products?

Okay, im on razer naga iteration number 4. Aka i have purchased a brand new razer naga (whatever the top tier one was at the time) for the last - lot - of - years.

Each time, why did i replace its predecessor? Because either the left or right click stopped functioning properly.

I can right now, pull each one out of my "spare parts" bin and you'll find them all immaculate. Not a scratch or piece of grime on them from being used in my office which is an ocd'esque level of clean. I play a single type of game, mmorpgs. AKA i'm rarely even clicking the left or right mouse button and certainly not with a level of frequency or pressure that one would expect could contribute or be attributed to this track record.

Each one failed conveniently just after the warranty period. This is beginning to feel very much like planned obsolescence. Which while disgusting is likely perfectly legal.

I take a large amount of pride and incredibly good care of my stuff because i work hard for my money and I need my things to last. Replacing a 100+ dollar mouse every 2 years when i abuse my buttcheeks harder is absurd.

I cannot hold right click and pan around any longer. it just releases/re-engages itself whenever is convenient which is random and frequent. It makes playing at any reasonable level impossible.

After checking the warranty period based on my amazon receipt and missing it by a few months, I decided i'd contact support as i "heard" sometimes a firmware update can resolve this behavior. Certainly wasnt holding my breath as i imagine if such a firmware existed to address such a problem it would be pushed to everyone via synapse or whathaveyou.

Either way, moot as after I went to razers website and clicked on support - after adding my serial number it told me "sorry, youre out of warranty - you'll need to try our forums for support" wow. Couldnt even reach a csr.

Anyone have any suggestions to prevent me from swapping all my peripherals to corsair or logitech? I'd hate to have to do so, but having the SAME EXACT ISSUE present over and over with each generation of mouse from these guys .. i'm blown away.

I am having this same problem.
I'm having the exact same issue. I bought my first trinity about a year and a half ago, the left click stopped functioning properly. I bought a new one back in June and now its doing the same.
I'm having this problem too. The left click doesn't hold reliably, I've had the mouse for 1.5+ years. It's a big disappointment because the OG Razer mouse I'd had for like 5+ years and it was still working fine.
