    Hello All,

This may be a random question since the Man O War headsets are for gaming. But my Sony XB500's are starting to die after 6 years.. So I'm in the market for a new set of wireless/bluetooth headphones..

I've been considering several things recently. A. I use my headphones a lot at my design job for music. B. I've been meaning to upgrade my Xbox headset to a Razer product. C. I'm looking for a multipurpose set of headphones that are as durable as my Sony headphones were. Meaning I could use these for music, take them home and use them for gaming, etc.

I really like the Man O War headphones but I'm not sure if they would be good music headphones. I'm interested in over ear headphones so Razer's dedicated ear buds don't really interest me.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    T.

Me personally, I love the chroma on the Razer Tiamat 7.1 v2. I don't even really care about sound. It's the chroma that's got me hooked on that product.

  3. I bought the Razer Ultimate Threshers for my PS4 even before i had a desktop. I bought mine right when they came out and i have had no issues with them at all, the sound is always great with no interruptions. great batter life and they seem like they will last a long time although i cannot confirm their durability. i use them all the time, for music, videos, and gaming and i love the sound they put out. The only issue is they might not be as portable as you like because you'll have to carry around the base station. That being said, the base station ensures the quality and connection is better than the average Bluetooth headset. You could try the xbox version and see what you think.

    Golder71,

So if I were to get the Wireless Man O War or one of the Threshers would I be able to still do Bluetooth with those? I am considering purchasing either a Razer Laptop or getting a full fledged Desktop at some point so I think any of the Razer headsets would be good for that aspect but sometimes I like to take my headphones on the go.

    Maybe the Kraken mobiles?

  5. Are you are that both headsets have usb's that you must plug into the desktop or console you're using? The threshers come with a full base and stand, while i believe the man o wars only require a normal usb sized plug in. Meaning the man o war is probably good for what you want. When i looked into it, there was a common problem of a pin in the headset that was not very strong. They may have fixed that though, im not sure. However they would be more mobile but i cant speak against my threshers lol.

Do the Krakens have a wireless version?

I would say man o war for you. Thresher or Tiamat if you're not constantly on the move.

I currently use the Marshall Major 2 headphones for music. Really good bang for the buck in those, as they aren't to expensive!! They aren't wireless, but they made a wireless edition. Should be just as good. If you have alot of money though, Bang and Olufsen (B&O) has alot of good models, made for music. Good hunting!
