Has the Core Wifi problem been fixed?

When I got my Razer Core V2 a couple years ago, it gave me nothing but connection problems. No matter what I tried it would just flash on my monitor for a second then disconnect, with device manager spitting all kinds of errors. I happened upon a post on these forums saying to just turn off wifi. Lo and behold, it worked like a magic. Absolutely zero problems after that, except now I don't have internet. I'm lucky in my setup having an Ethernet cable nearby, but when I tried plugging that into my core the same exact problems started up again as pre-wifi. So i finally said screw it and bought an Ethernet to usb adapter and that has been my go-to ever since.

Like I said, this went down almost two years ago. Has it been fixed? Is there an update out there I just didn't notice? Has anyone discovered a better workaround? The adapter I have gets the job done, but I would like my usb spot back and when I take my rig to a friends house I can't play any kind of online game unless the have Ethernet nearby, which sadly is often not the case.

I’ve also Core v2 and I don’t have that issue like for almost 3 years owning it, mostly run on Wifi. The problem maybe on your wireless card or modem that isn’t performing well with your laptop wireless card, software wise maybe try switching 2,4 or 5GHz, hardware wise try switch/use other modem or laptop wireless card.
I should clarify my laptop is currently a Blade Stealth 13, the model with an i7 8550U and intel UHD 620 graphics onboard. Perhaps this problem is exclusive to my model of stealths?

Some other details I forgot to mention, if the core is plugged in and working normally (with wifi turned off), within seconds of turning wifi on it instantly crashes the core, disconnects, and goes to just the laptop running and displaying message "graphics card has been disconnected". When im not connected to the Core I'm usually on a 5ghz wifi, but I tried changing to my 2.4 when i wasnt connected to the core and then connect and try that. No dice.

This problem persists at my friends houses, so it's not my router/modem. Don't think I wan't to undertake changing wireless card in a Blade either lol. I do appreciate the thought tho.

Any other thoughts?
