Headset disconnects and reconnects every 10-20 seconds

So here's what's happening:
I got the new Razer Kraken Kitty headset back in October and I've been using it ever since i got it. It has been working fine up until about a week ago. The only thing that has changed between not having this problem and now is I recently got all new monitors, ASUS TUF Gaming VG27WQ1B's. It doesn't really matter what i am doing on my pc, I could literally be doing absolutely nothing, just sitting at my desktop and if my headset is plugged into any of the USB ports on my pc it will play the windows disconnection sound, my headset will completely cut out, the lighting on my Razer Black widow Elite will shut off, and after about 5-10 seconds of my headset being off it will reconnect. Sometimes it will continuously do this every 10-20 seconds or will not do it for an hour or so.
Troubleshooting wise, so far i have; disabled all my other audio devices, still does it.
I tried reinstalling razer synapse 3, updating and repairing the software and it still does it.
I've tried it without any razer programs running and it still does it.
I have unplugged my Kitty headset and went to my Razer Kraken Tournament Edition, and it has not had the problem i am having with the Kitty headset.
I also went ahead and plugged my Kitty headset into my boyfriends pc and the disconnecting/reconnecting issue has not happened a single time and we even have the version of synapse and windows.

If anyone has any suggestions or advice on what to do i would appreciate it!
(i have already filed a ticket with razer support but they're telling me to almost all the same things i have already done to try and fix the issue)

Hi hi, I was having a similar problem (i'd hear a pop then kitty would disconnect and reconnect a few seconds later) except it only occurred when I was playing Overwatch. It didn't seem like it was a short in the cord so I ran the windows audio troubleshooter and it turns out Overwatch wasn't playing nice with some of the mic enhancements I had turned on in synapse. Turned them off and it's been good.

Hi @BabyShyv. Thanks for initiating this thread. I've seen that you've done an excellent job isolating the issue. However, the headset indicates a hardware issue. By the way, when and where did you buy the headset? If you purchase the device from a reseller and residing outside the US, please contact the store since that is the fastest route to get a replacement.
Did you find a solution ? dealing with the same issue ..
Only a temporary workaround. It still disconnects from time to time and the audio troubleshooter always returns the same results; than some enhancements did not load properly and the pc needs to restart.

Well, I have the same problem
I'm also experiencing the same problem 😕
I just got my headset last week. It worked fine for a day and now it is also doing this. I tried a bunch of these as well and was hoping it wasn't a hardware issue, but seems likely at this point.
My Razer Nari ultimate does the same thing.
My workaround is that i just plug it into a charging dock when it needs to recharge.
The issue only happens when it is plugged into the PC.

Then again I do have an AMD Ryzen MoBo and am waiting for the "Amd usb connectivity fix" that they just released to all the mobo makers.

I don't bother submitting a case anymore. I'm still waiting 8 months for the tartarus key stinking fix.
